Our client is a leading global multi national consulting and advisory organization. The present opening is for Senior Consultant (Procurement-Clinical / Hospital ) for their Qatar (Doha)office. The applicant shall have expertise for sourcing and purchasing medical and non-medical goods and equipment as well as a wide spectrum of services. The department is also responsible for developing and executing a supplier and contracts management strategy in order to achieve value for money from its contracts with suppliers. The position has the responsibility for the planning and procurement of supplies and other goods, Evaluates products suitability for goods and equipment, Evaluates financial affordability of preferred goods and equipment and recommends technical and financial suitable solutions to P&C Director, LTC, GTC. The selected candidates will help a large hospital to streamline and manage clinical procurement Supports the development of procurement plans for the assigned procurement product category Participates in the procure-to-pay procedures for assigned procurement category Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in key technical & sourcing areas Handles Limited Tender Committee (LTC) tenders in line with policies and procedures Initiates and develops medium and long term Supply Programs to ensure uninterrupted supply of goods to meet user department work programs Advises the category group department in key areas like tendering, troubleshooting, investigation etc. Periodically reviews procedures and work instructions for necessary revisions and improvements to meet changing business requirements. Adheres to Companys standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies
