Airport Services Agent - Qatar Airways - Taif
In this role you will deliver excellent service at the airport, helping create a stress free environment for customers travelling with Qatar Airways. You will ensure passengers receive total quality service and adhere to the safety policy and security standards of the company.
Accountabilities include:
• Delivering the highest level of Customer Service at all customer touch points
• Constant liaison with Check-in, Boarding Gate, Ramp, Cargo, Lounge.
• Supervising service partners’ activities for the smooth acceptance of passengers.
• Directing Arriving/Departing passengers to respective areas such as Arrival Hall, Transfer Area, Departure Gate, Lounge, etc
• Checking entry requirements (visas, residence permits) are met
• Coordinating with Cargo, Fueling company, Baggage Make up Area, aircraft loading team, catering suppliers for a smooth turnaround
• Handling of company mail
• Performing pre- and post-flight administration duties
• Handling baggage claims
• Ensuring compliance with QR Safety and Security requirements.

You will have a minimum High School education or
equivalent. To be successful in this role you will require a minimum of 2 or
more years’ proven experience in an Airline or GHA as Passenger Handling and
/or Ground Operations staff, with a good knowledge of the Airport working
environment. You will be an energetic, enthusiastic, stress resistant person
with a positive can-do attitude, a strong team player, have a flexible
approach, have strong decision making skills and possess solid commercial
awareness. You will have excellent attention to detail and be able to work
quickly and accurately under pressure. Ability to adapt to an ever-changing
environment is essential. You must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Amadeus
Reservations and Altea would be desirable.
Must be willing to work in shifts including weekends and night shifts.
Fluency in English and Arabic (Oral and written ) is essential for this role. Knowledge of Amadeus Reservations & DCS will be an added advantage.

You will have to operate equipment as directed, to safely service aircraft according to Standard Operating Procedures and in line with airline standards whilst achieving on time performance
Being a part of Ramp Loading Team you will also be responsible to arrange required number of Non-Motorized Equipment to the aircraft parking bay according to flight requirements. Multitask and undertake any additional activities such as positioning of chocks, cones, marshalling, and monitoring and operating all equipment for which you are qualified and licensed, loading offloading bags, cargo etc. Does required trips from/to baggage sorting areas and housekeeping after the flight
You should have basic safety awareness related to aircraft Ground Support Equipment operation and the hazards related to the same, take responsibility for individual safety and security issues and perform directed health and safety activities and checks.
You will also be responsible to inspect all assigned Ground Support Equipment to ensure serviceability, fuel levels, cleaning of the Ground Support Equipment and inform Team leader/supervisor of any issues, incidents, discrepancies to avoid incidents, or disruption/delay in the provision of service.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will undertake a wide variety of activities including processing payroll, bank reconciliations, compiling a variety of reports including statistical, and end of month reports, and provide support and assistance to the team and to management.
Specific accountabilities include:
• Receives and process all vendor invoices for payments and checks and verifies all invoices financially as per Finance policies and IAPs
• While processing the invoice for payment, ensure invoice approval stamp is fixed on the face on the invoice with proper accounting entries mentioned and all signatures are obtained.
• Ensure all invoices are routed through AP module, in case of new vendors, vendor account must be created by liaising with HO.
• Prepares Bank Disbursement Account monthly reconciliation for IRR & USD accounts
• Ensure all statutory and vendor payments are made on time with no penalties
• Handles and updates petty cash expenses in oracle, as per Finance Policy 14.
• Prepares and maintains disbursement statement for monitoring and controlling of expenditures, at the same time to monitor daily bank balance in case of any expected fund shortages it must be highlighted to Finance Manager.
• Support auditors during annual/quarterly project audit.
About You:

Bachelors Degree combined with a minimum of five years job-related experience,
preferably within the airline, travel and/or hospitality sectors. User level
experience with an ERP, such as Oracle, is required along with sound
spread-sheeting skills. Exposure to expenditure and revenue accounting would be
well regarded. You will also need to be fluent (written and oral) in English
for this role.
