A fantastic opportunity exists with what we
consider the leading structural steel fabrication and installation firm in the
GCC. With a track record in the major building and civil construction sectors
as well as the oil and gas and industrial sector the company has a very healthy
order book and an increasing 'work in hand' stretching throughout 2017 and into
2018.
The company is looking to install a Chief Designer to oversee and lead its multi-national and multi-cultural design team. Other key functions include overseeing and managing the production of design programmes; allocating and managing resources; recruitment of design team members; out-sourcing design work depending on work load.

Any applicants must be engineering degree
qualified with a minimum of 12 years post graduate experience working in
structural steel fabrication with a minimum of 4 years in at least a 'Lead
Engineer' capacity. Must be competent in both main frame analysis and design
and connection design.Must be able to communicate effectively and be able to
hold high level discussion to develop principles of design with Client
Engineers. Will be familiar with temporary works design and fully conversant
with Euro / British / US codes of practise as well as having a strong
understanding of all international codes.
Must be fully conversant with design programmes such as STAAD/Pro among others as well as having strong computer literacy with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Products.

industry. A Major International Multi Disciplinary Consultant looking is
looking to employ Senior Quantity Surveyors for a specific Audit Project in
Madinah, Saudi Arabia. Senior Quantity Surveyors with a background in Building,
Civil Engineering and MEP are sought.
Reporting to the Audit Project Manager the primary function of the Senior Quantity Surveyor is to review, monitor and report on the cost management processes and procedures adopted and support the cost control and commercial supervision performed on the project by others. Other key duties will include:
Variation orders & Measurements
Rates calculations
Monitor procurement
Cash flow
Valuation and payment certificates
Tender evaluation reports
Methodology, procedures and manuals
QA Control over services provided.

This is an important role for the organisations
and as such key parameters have been placed on the requirements for the role.
As such any applicants must have:
Degree in quantity surveying, architectural engineering or similar
MRICS
Minimum of 12 years post graduate experience.
Experience in pre and post contract quantity surveying with reputable contractor or quantity surveying consultancies.
Ideally applicants will be Arabic speaking and based in Saudi Arabia with a transferable Iqama. Whilst this is not mandatory this is preferred. Any applicants must have experience of working within the GCC Market.
In addition any successful candidate will be collaborative and focused, will lead by example and will possess advanced communication skills
