Ticketing Agent - Qatar Airways - Dubai

As a Ticketing Agent, you will provide a full service-oriented professional reservations and ticketing service to all customers and travel businesses either through telephone calls or in-person meetings in order to achieve optimal customer satisfaction and achieve annual budget revenue targets.

Accountabilities:
• Makes and confirms reservations for passengers.
• Arranges routings and calculates fares.
• Issues tickets quoting the correct fare, to reduce passenger complaints and debit notes.
• Control cash flow to ensure that sales reports are closed on time.
• Initiate and promote QR Holiday products to generate revenue.
• Record and process reservations made by phone/fax /email office communicator, telephonic and email queries from agents and QR out stations timeously (24 hours).
• Action group requests and follow through from time of booking to issuing of tickets.
• Handle help desk-assist travel agents with seat confirmations, upgrade/downgrade proposals, meal request and provide quality service to travel agents.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned, to ensure the efficient functioning of the work unit.
You will need a Diploma or Associate Degree combined with a minimum of two years of job-related experience. 1 or more years’ experience of customer service in an airline/ travel industry/ hospitality. You will need a detailed knowledge of a Computerised Reservation System, such as Amadeus. A sound understanding of world geography is required along with fluency in English and Arabic (written and oral).

Technology Services Lead Engineer - Hamad International Airport - Doha

In this role you will play a key role in development and support of IT processes and procedures in line with ITIL v3 and ISO 20000 standards. You will be responsible in facilitating documentation of such processes and procedures for all internal teams of the department. This role is important in delivering process driven approach to manage and deliver IT services.

You should hold a Bachelor's degree either in Computer Science or Engineering with minimum 4 years of job related experience. You should have experience in process development in line with ITIL V3 and ISO 20000 standards coupled with expertise in MS Office and MS Visio. You should have an exposure and knowledge of ISO 20000 and ITIL V3 standards.

In this role you will ensure that Airport Operations in all areas run smoothly, in a cost effective manner, and conform to safety and security requirements. Essential to this role is ensuring that customers are provided with the Qatar Airways 5 Star service promise, thus creating a competitive advantage for Qatar Airways in all ground products and services.

You will champion the Qatar Airways customer, employees, our contractors and our Airline in all phases of the airport operation to provide a safe, professional and on time operation that exceeds the internal and external customer expectations and attains the 5 star on the Ground service promise.

Responsible for training and resource planning you will recommend staffing levels, plan and implement working schedules, implement necessary controls and ensure compliance with labour laws. You will handle irregular operations at minimum cost whilst ensuring an impeccable level of customer service and ensure operations are within budget. You will monitor all airport use agreements, rental agreements and third party service providers.
To join our 5 star team in this role you will need a High School leavers certificate or an aviation related management qualification with at least 3 years experience as an airport manager with a major airline.

You will have a minimum of 5 years experience within an airline, customer service environment or GHA operations environment including varying supervisory and management roles. Extensive overall knowledge of all areas of airport operations is required.

Fluency in English is essential with Arabic as an advantage.

As the Airport Services Duty Officer, you will be responsible for the overall control of the shift as a direct representative of the Airport Services Duty Manager.
