Charterhouse is working with a leading automotive group in Qatar. Our client is looking to hire a Finance Manager. This role will take ownership of the finance department in the organisation. You will be responsible for driving the team forward and overseeing the operations of the department.
The successful candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CPA) with solid experience in the automotive Industry and managing a team. You should have at least 5 years experience working as a Finance Manager handling various different lines of business. You should also have strong knowledge across the value chain, loans and financing. Experience with the system Incadea would be advantageous but not essential. Our client has stated a preference for candidates with experience working in the Middle East region.

An industry leading FMCG company who has a particularly strong focus on beverages and petcare products is looking to expand their sales team from more of a technical angle. Our client is looking to hire a Sales Executive that is either a qualified Veterinarian / Veterinary Nurse, or someone from a scientific background who has previously worked with animals.

To be considered for this role you should have a solid understanding of petcare products to include skincare, vitamins and preventive products as well as a background in working with animals alongside a genuine interest in their well-being.
The successful candidate should have a consultative approach to sales as this role requires someone that cannot only develop sales strategies but is also able to develop relationships with clients. You should also have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Due to extensive communication with the head office, a Native English Speaker is preferred for this role as is someone who is able to travel with limited visa restrictions.

You will be managing 6 direct reports, with overall responsibility of circa 300 staff and will work closely with the company CEO and COO on all HR matters. This role will involve managing the HR practices and objectives that will increase the performance culture and emphasise empowerment, quality, productivity, and standards. 

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys implementing company policies and procedures, talent management systems, employee engagement processes and organisational growth and restructure.
The successful candidate should hold a relevant degree in Human Resources or equivalent and will have at least 10 years’ experience in a similar role. You should be an excellent communicator, familiar with labour laws and be comfortable making important business decisions. Arabic language skills will be advantageous.

HR Controls Officer

Charterhouse is working with a leading multinational financial institution, with a strong presence in the region and across the globe. The organisation is seeking an HR Controls professional who will report directly to the HR Director.

Your main duties and responsibilities will be to draft and maintain HR control plans, review and maintain SLA’s for all locations and perform controls articulated in the control plan. You will also monitor the proper operation of the inspector generale / internal audit / regulators recommended follow-up framework and draft and maintain procedures for HR MEA and its compliance within the group.
The successful candidate should hold a bachelors Degree in human resources or any related field and have at least 5 years’ experience within an HR operations and controls capacity, with a background ideally in a financial industry. Preference will be given to candidates based in Bahrain, however the role is open to those outside who are interested in a fixed term contract for one year.
