Senior Quantity Surveyor (MEP)

The Role 
Due to its continued expansion, Faithful + Gould is looking to hire Senior MEP QS to be based in our Dubai office.  Responsibilities: Pre and post contract team leader; Managing multiple teams of between 6 – 10 QS staff for project specific deliverables/ duties and for delivery of large scale regional malls; Client point of contact for specialist retail project delivery; Pre-contract MEP services: feasibilities, cost planning and estimating, Bill of Quantity productions, tender evaluation, analysis, negotiations and recommendations, peer reviews, cost data-base, value engineering, risk management etc. Post-contract MEP services: commercial management of contract (POMI, FIDIC Red Book Contract), contract administration (contractual and commercial correspondences, claims, delay analysis etc.), interim valuations and payment certificates, variations analysis, recommendations and management, performing risk and value management and cost control functions, undertaking costs analysis project work, identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks, compilation of detailed progress/ cost reports, weekly and monthly reporting to client representative on all commercial issues, heading commercial meetings, understanding the implications of health and safety regulations; 
Requirements 
Experiences and Qualifications:  Degree in Quantity Surveying from recognised university, or other RICS accredited qualification; 5-10 years pre and/ or post-contract relevant experience in contracts and commercial management; MRICS preferred but not essential; undertaking to work towards achieving MRICS. Must have consultant and/or client background for minimum of 3 years; Previous experience of FIDIC Red Book Contracts is preferred but not essential; Knowledge in the use of QS software CATO or similar is preferred, although not essential; Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; Independent worker who is able to lead teams of commercial staff; Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills. Rewards and Benefits:   A competitive all-inclusive salary: Medical and life insurance cover;  Company gratuity scheme;  Discretionary bonus scheme;  Annual flight allowance to point of origin;  Employee Well-Being Programme – 24 hour free advice on financial, legal and family care specialists and also access to personal health, fitness and nutrition consultants;

Sales & Products Executive - Oxygenates

The Role 
The incumbent will supervise and monitor the execution of sales activities assigned to their teams within their area of operation and responsibility. Build up customer contacts. Review and assess long term marketing agreements / contracts on continuous basis for their merits. Information seeking and analytical thinking are important aspects of this role as are the concern for customer satisfaction and timeliness in product delivery.   • Assists the Line Manager and participate in sales negotiations of short / long term sales agreements, spot sales agreements and propose appropriate terms and conditions in line with target price and Line Manager/Management guidelines and approvals. • Create Sales Agreements / Contracts (Long Terms and Spot) /Sales order in SAP in line with the contracts and minimum price guide lines. • Responsible for ensuring contracts are in place for all the sales transactions and processes the renewals ahead of the time by monitoring the validity of the agreements closely. • Prepare product market summary, individual customer analysis, business netback analysis and other relevant reports as required by the Line Manager. • Review and monitor quotations / offers against spot enquiries created by Coordinators & Sales Agents. • Review and validate pricing inputs compiled by Coordinators & Sales Agents. • Develop new customers, based on leads from market, sharing product samples, liaise with PEs to address on any additional queries from potential customers. • Develop awareness of, and perform in accordance with, the companies established marketing policies and procedures. • Create and administer daily movement plans. • Advise Commercial Department to process Pro-forma Invoice, Bank Guarantee and other required actions. • Prepare monthly minimum price guide lines and upload in SAP where applicable and monitor and manage the issuance of price exemptions approval requested by Sales Coordinators. • Monitor and ensure timely issuance of credit/debit notes and claims by sales coordinators with proper approvals. 
Requirements 
• Over 6 years’ experience in selling Oxygenates is MUST • MUST have a Bachelor’s degree in related field • Incumbent MUST have experience in Petrochemical company • MUST have experience in GCC • Excellent communication skills • Arabic would be advantageous  If you meet the above requirements you will be considered for the role.
