Heavy Goods Driver

The driver will be responsible for providing an efficient, reliable, quality delivery and collection transport service of heavy goods vehicles in accordance with safety legislation and company procedures.

The driver will ensure the safety of passengers, vehicles, employees and other road users.

The drivers may be subject to irregular work schedules, weather and outside environment extremes, long trips, short notice for assignment of a trip, tight delivery schedules, delays in route and other stresses and fatigues related to driving a commercial motor vehicle on crowded streets and highways in all kinds of weather.

The driver will drive to supplier and customer sites as planned by the Service Manager.
Hold a current, clean and valid Category 4 licence driving licence

Minimum of 4 years HGV experience 

Experience of commercial driving and skilled in manoeuvring vehicle at varying speeds in difficult situations, such as heavy traffic, inclement weather

Must have working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems

Competent to undertake daily and weekly vehicle checks and carry out basic maintenance

Must be able to sit and remain alert while driving for a long period of time

Equipment Registration Coordinator (PRO)

The Equipment Registration Coordinator’s role is to provide support to the country management team by coordinating the day-to-day running equipment registration process and ensuring that our fleet of vehicles are legally on the road.

The role holder will handle all the administrative tasks associated with our company vehicle fleet and its users. and will focus primarily on preparing the initial registrations and renewals for vehicles with expiring license plates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
• Process and manage the licensing, registration and renewals for all company owned vehicles. Ensure the process is completed on time and complies with current laws and legislation 
• Process all license requirements, parking, speeding and ad-hoc fines 
• Coordinate with the customers to find the location of the machine for renewal inspection
• Liaise with the traffic department inspectors to locate and inspect the machines
• Update and maintain manual and computerised vehicle record files
• Coordinate the transfer of ownership for vehicles scheduled for sale 
• Keep up to date with changing vehicle specifications and fleet requirements
• Ensuring all paperwork is correctly filed for all machines
• Assist the Operations and Engineering Service department with filing during any free time
• Assist with any other PRO work that may be required
• High School qualifications or equivalent
• Successful background in an administrative or customer service role 
• Previous Public Relations experience with local authorities in Qatar
• Some knowledge of local laws, regulations, and guidelines regarding vehicle registration, permit and licensing applications and fees
• Fluent in both written and verbal English & Arabic

DESIRABLE
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
• Strong data entry skills
• Experience within a similar fleet administration role

Senior Credit Controller

Senior Credit Controller - Must be Based in Qatar.

Reporting into the Country Manager and functionally into the Regional Credit Manager, the Senior Credit Controller will have responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day running of the Credit Control department to ensure customer debts are paid promptly and company’s Account Receivables targets are met.

The Senior Credit Controller will assist the Regional Credit Control Manager in training and mentoring and will share responsibility for guiding, coaching and developing the team to ensure the smooth running of this results-orientated department. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
• Responsibility for a client ledger of accounts and act as a point of contact for the country’s credit related escalations and queries
• Executing company’s credit policy within their area of responsibility
• Liaising with sales, hire desk and service departments on all customers related issues 
• Liaise and coordinate with other credit team members on their daily activities 
• Collection of debts in an efficient manner in line with agreed timetables, systems and methods 
• Ensuring that all documents required to receive payment are correct and complete
• Regular visits to customers offices/ sites for the delivery of invoices, collecting payments and solving payment disputes
• Prompt communication of issues to relevant parties to be able to facilitate collection, control credit offered and improve future performance
• Reconciliations of customers accounts on regular basis
• Communication of disputed invoices, credit notes required. Chasing to ensure a prompt resolution
• Weekly reporting to Regional Credit Manager and Country Manager of positions of all such accounts together with notification of any possible payment issues from the customer
• Weekly cash collections forecasts
• Assistance in producing month end debtors’ information
• Co-ordinate with the advocates for the legal cases and keeps an up to date record of the status of each pending case
• Bank deposits/ withdrawals
• High school diploma or above 
• 5 years previous experience within a credit control or similar environment
• Strong knowledge and experience of legal credit control processes 
• Previous experience of leading by example, ensuring that daily deadlines are met, queries answered and that the team’s workloads are balanced
• Computer literate and confident in working with Microsoft Excel
• Good written and spoken English
• Clean (current or previous) driving liscence
• Arabic speaking is an added advantage

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB: 

Under the direction of the Service Manager, the Storekeeper is responsible for administering the operations of a store. 

The Storekeeper will be responsible for all incoming deliveries, shipment and safe keeping of all stock located within the warehouse.

They will ensure inventory items are available when required by controlling and monitoring the movement of all inventory items.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
• Receives, identifies and verifies a variety of heavy machinery parts 
• Establishes standards and methods for packaging and storing parts 
• Ensure parts are kept in good condition and are repaired or replaced as necessary
• Select proper storage areas in bins, racks, shelves, floor or depot areas
• Maintains catalogues of available stock items
• Uses inventory management software to maintain inventory
• Arranges stock according to company requirements and established procedures
• Controls the distribution of supplies and material through inventory control cards and automated systems
• Determines items and quantities of stock to be purchased and maintained
• Identify suppliers and obtain quotes of prices for parts to be purchased. Research new parts, substitute products and pricing
• Working closely with the finance department when purchasing parts
• Prepares purchase requisitions and assigns account codes for the replacement of stock
• Maintains records and files such as invoices, order numbers, receiving date and shipping dates
• Perform weekly cycle counts, quarterly inventory, mid and year-end inventory
• Prepare regular inventory reports
• Oversees the delivery of parts according to the established schedule
• Unloads parts from trucks by hand or motorised equipment
• Inspects items for defects, damages and quantity against delivery documents
• Resolves discrepancies in requisitions, purchase orders, and delivery reports 
• Makes claims with transport companies if delivered parts has been damaged
• High school diploma or above 
• Strong track record in storekeeping
• Well versed in the practices of maintaining inventory such as receiving, storing and issuing materials, supplies, tools, and equipment
• Good knowledge of inventory management software
• Knowledge of computer systems such as the Microsoft Office suite e.g. Word and Excel
• Knowledge of the methods and techniques used to maintain a safe working environment, including the safe operation of materials handling equipment
• Experience handling inventory for construction, heavy machinery or plant parts and tools and supplies

• IPAF Operator Licence
