The Role
Role objective: To provide assistance to the engagement teams (40-50 staff) working on various client engagements ensuring quality output as per set policy guidelines Key responsibilities: Organization of Engagement • Act as central point for contact for the business operations of the engagement/practice assigned, e.g., client acceptance process coordination, family tree relationship reporting, GFIS code activity, etc. • Verify and check engagement codes and share with the engagement team accordingly • Monitor engagement calendar: Team planning meetings, review meetings, closing meetings and independence reviews • Assurance only: Involvement in staffing teams (validate staffing requests and anticipate conflicts) Team Coordination • Update contact list of EY team members and client contacts • Participates in engagement and/or practice team meetings and reviews items discussed and acts/plans accordingly, e.g., perform client website updates, analyzes data, etc, if required • Arrange to send client communications • Facilitate the setting up of meetings, conference calls, video calls including sending invitations, setting up dial in code, circulating agenda • Coordinate with the Document Management Services team for archiving of records • Assurance only: Coordinate the collection of audit and other statutory reports from joint auditors and other relevant authorities/parties • Assurance only: Arrange to send deliverables, audit instructions, financial statements on behalf of the engagement team Facilitate engagement work • Collect all available intelligence (industry and competitor data) from EY knowledge database/client database • Coordinate delivery of work papers and deliverables to client locations and organize collection at the end • Prepare standard Engagement Letter/proposal templates as per instructions of the Engagement Manager/Director • Assurance only: Facilitate and collect audit confirmation Quality & Risk Management • Coordinate the completion of documentation (final signed version of deliverable sign-offs) • Coordinate all procedures related to independence such as pre-approvals for non-audit services, update or validate family tree, etc • Detect non-approved services through analysis of GFIS and SORT, if required • Coordinate with Q&RM and Finance team to clarify any engagement related issues and inform the Engagement Manager for action • Assurance only: Backup and archive GAMx engagements and maintain archive GAMx multi-location archive database • Assurance only: Maintain engagement permanent file with all mandatory documentation (as per local legislation and GAM): minutes of boards, regulatory filings, internal audit reports, etc. Fees & Billings • Track and monitor client billing and credit collection for portfolio and provide information to Engagement Manger/Partner • Track and monitor engagement expenses and provide information to Engagement Manager/Partner • Assist in preparation of budget and monitoring if required • Assurance only: Reconcile estimates to staffing plan, if required • Assurance only: Monitor credit collection for portfolio • Assurance only: Monitor compliance through period review of Work in Progress (WIP) reports • Assurance only: Assist in the preparation of fee notes and supporting analysis for fee billings Client Liaison • Maintains and updates sales tracking database (interaction) • Coordinate delivery of firm publications • Coordinate client access to firm online research tools e.g. EY Online Possesses deep knowledge of the types of services the Firm/engagement/practice provides. • Adds value through recognition of clients and client-serving personnel. • Coordinate client networking meetings and events Assurance only: Coordinate with clients for inventory stock count Additional responsibilities • Ensure that workload within the team is distributed evenly and that priorities are met to suit changing business needs • Manage and meet deadlines • Provide support to other members during busy periods and in case of varying workload Key interactions Internal • EY Executives and Staff • Document Management Services Teams • Translation Team • Typing Team External • Client administrative contacts
Requirements
• A Graduate degree in commerce or business would be preferred • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience of working as administrative assistant or coordinator • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel • Lotus Notes knowledge is an advantage • Exposure of working within a multi-national multi-cultural corporate environment Skills: • Possesses deep knowledge of the types of services the Firm/engagement/practice provides. Senior Manager - Cyber Threat Intelligence

The Role
EY is seeking an experienced Cyber Threat Intelligence (TI) Manager and leader who wants to join an elite team, as part of the EY MENA practice. This position will be responsible to establish the TI function in MENA by leveraging EY’s strong TI global practice and ensure business inter-operability with the Digital SOC in MENA, Incident Response Functions and wider business strategy for clients as a core component to Cyber. They will work closely with the regional Cyber leadership to champion the TI service within the Cyber practice and leverage EY’s unique global network to drive innovation. In addition, they will also develop a close working relationship with the EY’s SOC to provide operational TI capabilities and services along with other subject matter experts including OT and IoT specialists, IAM, Cyber Analytics, and IR teams in MENA, EMEIA and Globally. The TI leader will be able to clearly articulate and deliver capabilities around both strategic intelligence through to tactical threat feeds. Strategic threat intelligence includes the traditional intelligence functions that can be leveraged for Cyber TI program builds all the way through to proactive, passive, intelligence collection. In addition, the role is expected to also be technical in nature and be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of TI platform builds with multi-source (open and paid) through to technical integration within and ecosystem / SOC and information sharing mechanisms. The Cyber TI Manager is a critical customer facing role that requires the instinctive ability to recognize gaps in customer capabilities and to translate them into business requirements and an execution strategy in a clear and concise manner. The Cyber TI Manager will also play key role in introduction of new TI services /solutions in EY portfolio in terms of integration and deployment. Key Responsibilities: • Review, update and design EY Cyber TI services that compliment other EY services to provide value to our clients. • Leadership of the technical teams and other TI team members to deliver successful EY Cyber TI services. • Key presenter and thought leadership at events, industry representation, white papers and clients along with other key EY executives and management. • Liaise with the client’s TI, Cyber, security, Risk and responder teams in finalizing the Cyber services and take them into implementation. • Lead project delivery and work with delivery teams to ensure successful delivery of TI projects. • Work with the Digital SOC TI capabilities to ensure alignment, value and integration with the latest services. • Proposing and leading improvements to of EY Cyber TI services in line with dynamic regional and global cyber risk profiles and the global network. • Raise and resolve any TI risks that could have implications against the cyber security strategy of clients. • Key Cyber TI advisor to the EY Cyber MENA Partner and regional steering committees. • Champion the governance, documentation and knowledge management of Cyber TI technical and procedure artefacts for continuous improvement.

To qualify, candidates must have: • A real passion for Cybersecurity, who can articulate complex technical problems and solutions to “C level”, with a focused state of mind to understand how TI is a key part of Cyber and can support to protect enterprise from the threats they face. The Role
An Islamic banking client based in Kuwait is actively looking for an experienced System Administrator to work as part of a growing team responsible for the performance of all Windows & Unix operating systems for the group. The successful System Administrator will be working as part of a team responsible for the design, build and maintenance for all infrastructure services that rely on these core Windows and Unix systems, as well as any necessary incident management and support. The role will also involve the delivery of client services across all Windows and Unix based services with a clear focus on continuous improvement, enhancement and growth of related infrastructure and shared services. Due to industry regulations and governance, there is also a focus on system security and part of the role will involve ensuring systems are secured according to the organisation’s security standards.
Requirements
Candidates should have extensive hands-on experience with the administration, implementation and support of Windows and Unix (Solaris & AIX) systems. Similarly the successful System Administrator should have relevant experience supporting and implementing Database environments, ideally within an Oracle environment. Candidates should hold a relevant technical degree and given the nature of the work being performed, prior banking or financial services experience is preferred.
