The Role
• Fulfilling a management role of HSE Advisors and an advisory role to site management teams, providing leadership and mentoring of the HSE team members • To actively pursue international best practice and encourage Service Providers to implement and maintain safe working environments that meet or exceed the clients expectations • To review, assess and approve contractors Safety Manuals, procedure's and work method statements. To lead and document all Safety Audits, required by both Local Authorities and Project's Safety System and co-ordinate the preparation of the H&S monthly reports for all FM contracts • Conduct hazard and risk assessments and change existing, or develop new recommendations from these assessments to the client o Carry out record, document and issue daily, weekly & monthly, site safety inspections, audits and reports • Assist project team in investigation of all project accidents and dangerous occurrences incidents • Devise, supervise, and coordinate training programs or media which will increase proficiency in safe practices and promote HSE consciousness and prepare and issue Safety Bulletins, Violation Notices and Construction related Safety Training Courses • Assist in investigation, preparation and documentation Safety Manuals, Policies and Procedures • HSSE Coordinator will spend a significant amount of time on site observing conditions and Service Providers activities to ensure that all environmental management plan commitments are met, especially with regard to sensitive environmental issues such as dust control, marine areas, site cleanliness, vehicle maintenance facilities, and fuel storage facilities etc Salary approx QR20,000 per month
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Environmental Management/Health & Safety • Safety Practitioner certification from an internationally recognized safety institute NEBOSH Diploma • Minimum 8 years working experience in Environment, Health and Safety in building operations, etc. • Good knowledge of local health and safety governing rules, control measures and fire safety management • Interpersonal, initiative, analytical thinking, decision-making and leadership abilities • Ability to conduct formal Safety risk assessments, and producing comprehensive reports. • Good command of spoken and written English • Good presentation skill • Computer literacy (e.g. MS Office, Powerpoint, Excel, etc) • Good knowledge of quality standards like ISO 9002, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001

Requirements

The Role
1. Supporting the management of the long term (Siemens) gas turbine service contract with respect to planned and unplanned outage services of gas turbines 2. Development of routine plant maintenance through the use of CMMS. 3. Successful preparations and completion of planned shutdowns conducted by Siemens 4. Implementation of Mechanical engineering practices in accordance with OEM and international standards 5. Support the development and implementation of a Long Term engineering strategic plan 6. Life cycle management for all Mechanical systems 7. Completing the planned shutdowns within time and budget 8. Safe and efficient delivery of high levels of commercial availability within environment limits 9. Make decisions, or assist others to make decisions, to resolve plant maintenance problems with immediate, medium and long term consequences 10. Lead and motivate the team by setting appropriate people and plant related performance measures 11. Deliver outcomes, in all areas of work, consistent with the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental policies 12. Ensure Company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures are followed. 13. Participate in internal / external Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental audits and monitor relevant findings 14. Requirements
Education 1. An accredited degree in Mechanical or Power Plant Engineering. 2. Demonstrated competence at engineering level with adequate education and training supported Experience: 1. Leading and Managing People skills with at least 7-10 years of total operation experience with progressive experience as auxiliary, boiler, turbine and control room operator. 2. The Role
The Head of Contracts will be responsible for the development, management and monitoring of the contracting process making full use of all potential negotiating opportunities to maximise high quality, affordable care. - Manage the Contract to ensure contract delivery in line with budget. - Identify, monitor and manage risk associated with contracts and ensuring appropriate business controls, continuity and contingency plans are in place. - Pro-actively look for ways to improve relationships with internal and external stakeholders - Work closely with internal stakeholders to achieve successful contract delivery - Develop appropriate methods of communication for internal and external stakeholders to ensure understanding and buy-in in order to deliver contractual requirements - Ensure all contractual documentation meets the standards required by internal and external inspection bodies and delivered in line with contractual requirements. - Manage a contract change protocol process ensuring any changes to any agreements are in writing and endorsed by all relevant parties. - Deliver agreed management reporting (to include performance, quality and financial matters).
Requirements
- In-depth understanding of Contract Management which will include drafting, negotiation and execution, tendering processes, and monitoring, reviewing and evaluation of contract compliance. - Proficiency in utilizing and interpreting financial models and analyses. - Experience in applying organizational standards when developing requests for proposals, negotiating terms and drafting contracts. - Ability to systematically analyze complex problems, draw relevant conclusions and implement appropriate solutions. - Strong verbal and written skills, and ability to convey complex information in a way that others can readily follow. - Excellent negotiating and persuasive skills, both in one-onone and group situations. - Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field preferred. (In some cases, an advanced degree may be desirable). - With experience of 10-15 years. - Preferably already residing in Qatar.
