A leading building contractor in Dubai has an
immediate opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager or Project
Director to join them working on a large scale 500m AED building project in
Dubai.
This role is to be number one on the Project and be responsible for the full build process from inception to completion. Manage multi-national teams and departments on the project, external consultants, report to the client and the board.
You will have full P&L responsibility on this project and be expected to take ownership of it from day 1.

Candidates should have previous experience of
project delivery in the Middle East of complex building projects. You will have
previous management experience and be confident to manage a large international
team.
You will be educated to degree level and have experience of working for international main contractors in the build sector.
You must have had previous experience of P&L and full financial control over your own projects.

Senior Quantity Surveyor

Reporting to the Cost Manager responsible for estimating, budgeting, cost control, cash-flow and reporting.
Duties:
• Lead a small team of Quantity Surveyors
• Preparation and maintenance of estimates, budgets, cost report and cashflows
• Budget allocation and tracking
• Review and comment on bids and contract award recommendation reports
• Estimating of value engineering options and lifecycle costs
• Establishment and maintenance of a program cost benchmarking database
• Analysing and reporting on Consultants and Contractors cost reports and cashflows
• Co-ordination with Package Managers, Consultants and Contractors
• Preparation of monthly and weekly reports

• Experienced user of MS Office, advanced MS Excel user and Primavera Contracts Manager
• Report writing skills an advantage
• Previous experience in the Middle East an advantage
• Fluent English & Arabic (both written and spoken)
