Due
to the recent award of one of the largest infrastructure projects in Dubai they
are now actively seeking an experienced Western Quantity Surveyor .
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
- Responsible for all commercial and financial management activities undertaken on the project

- Ensure that the company is a cost viable operation, which produces at profitable return with the least amount of risk to the parent company.

Requirements
A
minimum of 8 years’ experience (minimum 1 years’ experience in the UAE)
- Strong background working for contractors
- Strong Leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales, whilst ensuring an excellent working relationship with the client and the rest of the team.
- A disciplined, organised hard task master would have drive and autonomy.
- A minimum degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying.
- Previous experience overseeing a team of Quantity Surveyors in a construction environment.
- Understanding of Contract Terms and Conditions

The Role
Manage
the project team, coordinate with customers as well as internal and external
suppliers to ensure timeous delivery of relevant raw materials, manufacture of
roofing and cladding systems and dispatch of finished goods/systems to meet

- Evaluates chief engineer on board in line with the Fugro appraisal system.
- Fully brief all newly appointed Chief Engineers on local conditions and the performance expected by the OPCO, and will familiarise such personnel fully with the OPCO SIMO, Abu Dhabi port areas, rules and regulations before appointing them to the vessel;

One or more of the following:
- Strong knowledge of the Security concepts
- More than 5 years of experience in Identity and Access Management, including directory services, single sign on and provisioning, in product such as IBM Tivoli (TIM, TAM, Directory), Microsoft ForeFront/ILM/AD, Computer Associate, SailPoint.
