Maintenance Supervisor - Precipitation

Successful candidates must have technical experience within general mechanical fitting, be able to read and understand engineering drawings, safe work practices. Follow maintenance procedures, experience in completing and understanding preventive/predictive/breakdown maintenance. Laser alignment, procedure development and experiences with agitator maintenance, tank maintenance and tube & shell heat.
B.Sc. in any related engineering degree or Diploma/ High school certificate.
Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant maintenance supervisory level within White Side refinery.

Coating/Slitting Process Engineer

- Adhere to EHS rules & regulations and ensure Safe Working Instructions (SWIs) and Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed
- Identify critical process parameters and develop plans to bring them into a state of statistical control.
- Use the corrective and preventative action process to ensure follow up and correction of system deficiencies found during manufacturing and equipment issues.
- In depth understanding of Aluminum Rolling, roller-levelling, chemical cleaning, lacquer-coating and finishing equipment along with demonstrated improvement track record.
- Provide technical leadership in equipment, process and product development.
- Reinforce a plant culture where continuous improvement (Kaizen) drives the manufacturing processes and the workplace. This includes applying continuous improvement methodologies such as ‘Six Sigma’ as the key tools in minimizing process variability and meeting customer’s expectations. Knowledge and practical experience of the application of the ‘six-sigma’ methodologies for continuous improvement would be a plus.
- Ensure that critical manufacturing processes are identified and controlled within the ISO9001 Quality Management System.
- Work safely and promote a culture of safe attitudes and compliance within Safety rules and environmental regulations
- Bachelors’ degree in Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering.
- Minimum 5-10 years relevant experience within aluminum rolling mill industry.

Coolant Engineer

- Collaborate with coolant process development to build, design, and validate a stable coolant system that provides excellent product quality
- Identify critical coolant process parameters and develop plans to bring them into a state of statistical control.
- Develop, review, and update Coolant Process Standard Operating Procedures as needed and ensure all staff are aware of and trained in proper procedure.
- Provide technical leadership in the coolant processes and ensure it meets the product’s quality parameters and needs.
- Reinforce a plant culture where continuous improvement (Kaizen) drives the manufacturing processes and the workplace. This includes embracing SPC and continuous improvement methodologies such as “company” Business System as the key tools in minimizing process variability and meeting customer’s expectations. Knowledge and practical experience of the application of the ‘six-sigma’ methodologies for continuous improvement would be a plus.
- Recommend plant strategic and tactical objectives related to customer satisfaction, coolant performance and coolant cost.
- Work safely and promote a culture of safe attitudes and compliance within Safety rules and environmental regulations.
- Coolant process expertise in Hot Mill’s and Cold Mill’s along with Coolant system operation
- Bachelor Degree in Chemical engineering or Metallurgist.
- Minimum 5-10 years’ relevant experience within aluminum/rolling mill industry.

Coating Chemical Engineer (Quality Engineer)

- Adhere to EHS rules & regulations and ensure Safe Working Instructions (SWIs) and Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed.
- Responsible for can-end stock product and process Quality Assurance in the Finishing Department, i.e. Coating-Line, Slitting & Packing
- Experience with Surface Quality Monitoring Systems (SQM) such as Cognex Smart View and Smart Advisor.
- In depth understanding of the quality assurance requirements for beverage can-end and tab stock. This will include a knowledge of customer expectations and specifications including food food-safety requirements such as Good Manufacturing Process (GMP).
- Use the corrective and preventative action process to ensure follow up and correction of system deficiencies found during manufacturing and equipment issues
