Salary :
Salary is naturally related to grade but bear in mind that working in the UK means that you benefit from lower than average UK taxation as well as a low cost of living.
Our Candidate team will also be able to provide guidance for ways to enhance your earnings!
Consultant: 74,504 and 100,446 per annum, dependent on the grade and level of experience.
Specialty Doctors: between 37,817 and 69,325 per annum.
Junior Doctors: the basic starting salary is 30,002 per annum.
How to Apply :
GMC registration is NOT required to submit your application, however you are required to be registered before you start any role. We will be able to help and advise you in gaining your GMC registration and passing your IELTS. Experience and Skills :
Consultants Roles
Applicants must hold or be eligible for Full GMC Registration and licence to practise, and be on or be eligible to be on the GMC Specialist Register;
Extensive experience as a Specialist in the relevant field of activity.
Specialty Doctors:
Applicants must hold or be eligible for Full GMC Registration and licence to practice;
At least 4 years full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time or flexible basis) at least two years of which will be in a specialty training programme in a relevant specialty or as a fixed term specialty trainee in a relevant specialty or have equivalent experience and competencies.
Junior Doctor:
Applicants must hold or be eligible for Full GMC Registration and licence to practice;
Applicants must have completed Foundation Training or equivalent (have at least 2-3 years of recent post-graduate experience).

The Role
Reporting to: ELV Shift Engineer Division / Function: SME / IFS Base location: Abu Dhabi Date: 22nd October 2017 Grade: 11 Serco Leadership Tier: Team Member Key purpose The purpose of the position is to be able to carry out the operation and maintenance of the BMS Systems and the associated building services system controls equipment for all of the plant and systems contained in and around the premises. This position is also responsible for carrying out and managing the planned preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, remedial repairs, calibrations and commissioning adjustments of all systems that are under the control of the department. Structure and reporting relationship Reporting to the ELV Systems Supervisor. Key accountabilities • Participate in the testing & commissioning, handover and implementation of the building services BMS systems in accordance with compliance and requirements. Identify any snags, defects and generate a report on the corrective measures. • Carry out planned preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, remedial repairs and adjustments to the BMS system to provide operational effectiveness in accordance with the design intent and ensure continuity of service. • Monitor, control and maintain the operations of the BMS system and proactively provide intervention to diagnosis, probable faults to negate any interruptions to service. • Provide technical support with all MEP Projects, including supporting the design, installation, commissioning of new assets and systems. • Participate in shift work and/or out of hours working as governed by the necessity to maintain continuity of operation of essential plant and systems. • Liaise with technical staff, including external contractors to ensure all work programs are delivered in an effective and efficient manner. • Participate in the Third Party Contractor Management process including review of risk assessments / method statements and supervision of external contractors, service engineers and suppliers and sign off service report if they meet the contract specification. • Participate in the Health, Safety & Risk programs including risk assessment of planned maintenance and reactive work activities. • Use safe systems of work when working with all plant and equipment and ensure the same with the department and among sub-contractors and third parties. • Exercise a personal duty of care for own and teams health, safety and welfare and for those affected by the acts or omissions and promote the same within their work area of responsibility. • Meet company and site requirements of HSQE. • Participate in project work including refurbishment of existing building controls equipment/systems and/or new installations. • Provide effective communication with management, peers, contractors, subcontractors, project subcontractors. • Ensure good HSQE and Information security culture is promoted within the department and among peers. • Carry out other duties as directed by the line management. HSQE Responsibilities and Information Security Responsibilities • To exercise a personal duty of care for their own health, safety and welfare and for those affected by their acts or omissions; reference SMS GSOP-HSE1-6 Serco organizational HSE responsibilities • Ensure compliance with the Serco Management System and all relevant business processes, procedures and work instructions to deliver all work with appropriate quality and governance standards • Ensure security and integrity of all data provided including reporting performance, finance and customer information; reference Serco non-disclosure policy • Ensure compliance with all training requirements of Serco and ensure adherence to these requirements at all times whilst in employment • Awareness of the Integrated Management System (IMS) and the content of the Environment, Quality, Health & Safety and Information Security Policy Statements. • Understanding of personal responsibilities and contribution to achieving compliance with the • IMS requirements, (including but not limited to competence to perform safety critical roles, legal requirements, control measures arisen from environmental impacts and aspects, job safety analysis and information security risk assessment) and the potential consequences of departure from the arrangements in place to deliver the commitments stated in the policies statements above. • Use safety systems of work, safety equipment (including PPE) as required and intended and observe that this is also enforced among subcontractors and third parties working for Serco have controlled premises/systems. • Lead by example and look at ways to conserve energy, water and resources and minimise the generation of waste through personal performance and raise recommendations on how to improve existing processes on this regard within/outside their departments through their Line Manager, Departmental Safety Meetings and any other appropriate available channels. • Protect information assets and data including both electronic and paper based from all threats whether internal, external, deliberate or accidental. • Promote a good HSQE and Information Security culture among their peers, subcontractors and third parties.
Requirements
Essential technical and professional skills, knowledge and qualifications • Diploma in electrical or electronics engineering discipline or equivalent • Proficient and able to demonstrate a complete understanding of BMS systems throughout. • Technically competent in monitoring the operations of BMS systems with a clear technical understanding of buildings electrical, mechanical and plant and associated controls equipment. • Proven track record of maintaining leading brand BMS systems and associated equipment. • Able to foster good relations with colleagues and other departments and be a good team player. • Flexibility, excellent attention to detail, ability to identify key issues and manage an environment of innovation and regular change. • Able to work under stringent deadlines and high pressure environment. • Experienced in computer control programs and systems • Computer literate in MS Office software programs • 5 years’ experience in a building services / facilities management environment with 3 years of relevant experience in BMS systems technically. Additional / special features of the role • Experience in a healthcare facility is an advantage but not mandatory.
