Manager - Cargo Export Operation

The Role
Operations: - Ensure that Air Cargo handling operations are in compliance with government and airlines health, safety and security rules and regulations. - Identify shortfalls in cargo handling process - procedures and implement new procedures to address the shortfalls - Identify cost effective infrastructure solutions to improve cargo operations. - Ensure that the Airline’s Service Standards- procedures are complied with. - Ensure that the staff’s job performances are properly evaluated and deserving staffs are duly rewarded. - Ensure that Departments assets and resources are properly utilized for the overall benefit of the entire organization. - Provides good customer service to airlines and other clients by ensuring that their requirements, enquiries and complaints are attended to and issues - complaints resolved expeditiously. - Investigate cargo irregularities-mishandlings and ensure new work process - procedures are implemented to prevent recurrence of incidents. - Conduct regular weekly-monthly meetings with airline clients to review and resolve operations issue. - Monitor all operation activities on daily basis to ensure compliance to procedure for smooth and efficient handling Project: - Examine the projects on systematic basis various areas within the cargo business until and warehouse handling functions and operational standards. - Develop new cargo handling software system along with the vendor and ensure the requirements of - operations and finance are met. - Conduct vigorous User Acceptance Test (UAT) for the new Cargo Handling Software, conduct training for staff on operations and successfully implement the software. - Successfully implement cargo operation at the new Cargo Terminal. - Attend meetings with the project team on the New Muscat Cargo Terminal. - Coordinate the projects with all stakeholders; Communicate changes and progress to management. - Coordinate and facilitate delivery of project objectives and timely completion of projects. - Conducting frequent inspections for quality control purposes in all project related facilities and ensure corporate HSE measures are adhered to. - Submit project reports and recommendations including design cost estimates, expected saving of cargo projects and facilities. - Proactively communicate & Manage project status, issues, conflicts & risks to stakeholders and management.
Requirements
Bachelor Degree in related discipline with 8 years working experience in Air Cargo Operations of which 3 years’ in a similar or in a supervisory position, preferably with prior experience in setting up a new Mechanized Cargo Terminal at a new Airport. Master’s degree in the related discipline will be advantage. Special Skills & Knowledge: Proficiency in English (written & Spoken) Proficiency in MS office & project management software Good interpersonal skills.

External Communications Executive - Corporate Communications

The Role
The External Communications Executive will be part of the expanding Corporate Communications team at Alshaya. You will be accountable for the development and delivery of media and public relations activities targeting key stakeholders locally in Kuwait, and more widely across Alshaya's operating markets. Requirements

Senior Manager - Talent Acquisition/Performance Management System

Primary Responsibility Strategic - Developing human resource policies, plans and programs in consultation with Executive Vice President – Human Resource and with other key stakeholders with regards to talent acquisition function to ensure provision of effective business support for the achievement of Oman Air’s manpower business plans and strategies - Develop and ensure that the annual manpower budgets & plan and perform periodic cost and productivity analysis to ensure optimal productivity and return on investment. - Development of human resources as a strategic partner in organizational change and in the development of Oman Air as an employer of choice. Requirements
Bachelor Degree, preferably in Human Resource or related field with 10 years of post-qualification experience of which 03 years in a Managerial position in Human Resource department.
