Job Description ROLE Provide cost & planning services in support of engineering, construction, commissioning & start-up (CSU) and maintenance activities. Develop, in conjunction with project engineers, design engineers, construction & maintenance engineers, activity plans for projects, construction services, and CSU activities. AUTHORITY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Build overall plans and schedules for conceptual, front-end designs and for the execution phase of projects, provides plans and schedules for ad-hoc construction service requests, integrated maintenance plans. Shall report to the relevant Contractor project control & planning engineer, IAP Planner and area Construction for day-day activities. Responsible for work activity progress reporting and regular update of plans and schedules. Work in close co-operation with Company Engineering & Operations planning department, for engineering, construction, and CSU planning, inclusive reporting, Primavera P6 entry, SAP daily service entry, and Premix entry. Resource optimization / prioritization in conjunction with Project Engineers / Construction / Maintenance Co-coordinators(s). Early warning of plan delays and proposals for mitigation to Project Engineers / Construction / Maintenance Co-ordinators for resolution. Provide assistance in job preparation to Project Engineers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Manages a team of horticulturists (i.e., supervise daily work assignments, coach/develop performance for success, create/maintain work schedule, review/approve timesheets, maintain accurate attendance records, complete annual performance evaluations and goal setting sessions with assigned staff, handle all disciplinary actions, etc.) * Ensures the highest level of excellence in landscape maintenance * Designs new displays and incorporates, plant diversity into existing displays * Requests species for addition to the living collections and ensure direct reports are also requesting species additions * Researches and develops cultivation techniques and modifies growing environment to support optimal plant health * Requests re-propagation to ensure health of plants as necessary * If required participates in national and international travel / expeditions for plant collecting and horticulture capacity building * Acquires and shares plant material in accordance with the Gardens policies and guidelines * Completes purchase orders, submits for approval and then orders materials, supplies and tools * Conducts minor and regular maintenance tasks on tools and equipment and submits maintenance request to General Services for large takes * Keeps tools and equipment storage areas clean and tidy and perform regular inventories of tools and equipment * Plan and schedule seasonal landscape and plant maintenance tasks and ensure necessary supplies are on hand to complete a task prior to starting * Time plant removals and landscape improvements to ensure that we have plant material on-hand to replace plants being removed * Evaluates landscapes on a three-month basis and provides feedback to horticulturists and ensures any necessary improvements are made * Holds regular team meetings with horticulture staff and communicates necessary direction and information * Actively supports development of the landscape and plant collections by providing ideas and recommendation to the Senior Manager Horticulture
