HR Officer for a Large Multinational Law Firm

The Role 
HR Officer for a Large Multinational Law Firm, Dubai  Working within a small team, this role provides support to the Human Resources department in the recruitment for all Middle East offices and the day to day HR as well as overlooking the Office admin for the Dubai office.  The successful candidate must have relevant experience in HR Administration, Recruitment & Employee relations.  Responsibilities • Recruitment & On-boarding • Coordinates with recruiting agencies in the recruitment process for all levels. Negotiating on the recruitment fees and advising on the most appropriate & cost effective processes & tools to recruit. • Supports recruitment by coordinating & arranging defined activities & resources to meet the specific goals, such as screening CVs and coordinating interview timings. • Co-ordinates & administers timely & accurate posting of internal & external vacancies using defined media. • Acts as a contact point for internal & external enquiries on all aspects of recruitment & selection. Updates the vacancy list for all Gulf offices and coordinates with department heads on the job description and updating them on the recruitment process. • Data Management & accuracy • Maintaining all personnel files for the ME offices i.e. contracts, vacation leave, sick leave, etc. Ensuring the data is up to date on the HR system. • Employee relations • Assist in developing & implementing policies and procedures for the Firm, maintaining the staff handbook & HR handbook • Performance & benefits • Manage the Medical insurance for all employees in the ME region and negotiating on the benefits and cost upon renewal. • Ensure appraisals for fee-earners and support staff are completed annually on the set deadline and kept a copy on file. • Management of Office Administration • Manage the office administration team which includes the receptionist, 2 Office Administrators & 2 drivers • Ensure harmony within the team and work with them to keep motivational levels high • Conduct performance reviews for the team and manage expectations • Keep up to date with issues faced by the Office team and be the point of contact for any grievances by the team or about the team from the rest of the office. 
Requirements 
• A minimum of 5 years previous HR experience with an MNC in UAE • Experience working with a Partnership • Confidence to deal effectively with professionals across the firm as well as external suppliers • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal • The ability to prioritise and multi-task, particularly when working under pressure and to tight deadlines • A methodical approach to work with a strong focus on accuracy • Self-motivation and the ability to work in a team  To be the chosen candidate for this position you will need to be currently based in Dubai, be educated to degree level with 5 years experience in the HR Department of a multinational professional services company. We strive to the preferred source for Aggregate and Limestone.  Job Description/Summary The primary function of the Crusher Equipment Operator is to perform various duties as assigned but not limited to operating recycle crusher, front end loaders, skid steer, dozer, excavator, etc. along with recycle crusher maintenance activities. This is a full-time, hourly position with occasional overtime as needed, and will require equipment and plant operating, along with labor time. Potential travel, although minimal, may be required for short periods of time throughout the Willamette Valley to perform the job duties at various plant locations.   Essential Job Duties: - Operate equipment in a safe manner to support daily crusher activities which includes but not limited to front end loader, skid steer, dozer, excavator, etc.  - Efficiently operate a rock crushing plant, which produces a variety of rock products as directed by crusher foreman.  - Perform routine maintenance, such as lubricating, oiling and cleaning around the crusher plant - Participate in crusher setup and teardown along with maintenance activities as needed.  - Participate in creating a safe work environment, achieve safety goals, implement company safety programs and comply with standards. Report all near misses or accidents to the crusher foreman.  - Other duties as assigned by crusher foreman and/or production superintendent.  - Efficiently operate a rock crushing plant, which produces a variety of rock products.  - Perform routine maintenance, such as lubricating, oiling and cleaning around the crusher plant.  - Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed.  - Other duties assigned as needed.   Reflect a professional appearance and attitude with all work related activities. Requirements
