Job Purpose
Oversee the operations of IT Systems & Applications and Network & Security units in line with Flow’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities: 
Strategic Roles & Responsibilities
• Develop IT directorate strategy in line with Flow’s business strategy and translate it into effective medium and short-term plans and executive plans.
• Monitor IT department performance against pre-set performance goals to ensure that progress is being made in the desirable direction and preventive/corrective actions are taken accordingly.
• Lead and oversee IT department policies and procedures, performance indicators, and overall quality of IT operations, and provide recommendations for improvements to senior management.
• Supervise the implementation of set procedures and work programs in addition to providing the required support to streamline operations and increase employee performance.
• Recommend plans, programs and initiatives to improve functional performance and level of productivity.
• Enhance working relationships with the relevant external stakeholders to form strategic partnerships, and motivate internal stakeholders, and manage change to achieve the required competencies.

Operational Roles & Responsibilities
• Lead the development of IT department policies and procedures.
• Ensure that all IT staff operate in accordance with Flow’s standard operating procedures and policies.
• Develop the IT infrastructure and governance framework covering LAN/WAN infrastructure, IT risk management, etc.
• Develop an effective disaster recovery and business continuity plan and drive its implementation.
• Provide up-to-date technology platform for services provision and information.
• Ensure a consistent framework and approach for the implementation and roll-out of ERP and other systems.
• Manage the relationship with third party suppliers.
• Set targets for IT departments and ensure they are met.
• Collect relevant operational and business performance data and provide timely reports to COO regarding all IT departments’ activities and performances.
• Develop key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of IT operations.
• Direct and oversee the IT department budget and forecasted expenditures, and monitor financial performance in coordination with the Finance.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as required.

People Roles & Responsibilities
• Liaise with others in the business to monitor requirements and to ensure quality of service.
• Evaluate subordinates’ performance and provide them with timely feedback.
• Develop a positive work environment and encourage teamwork.
• Serve as a professional role model and mentor to staff.
• Orient new subordinates on the department activities.
Qualifications & Experience: Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant certification is an added advantage.
• 8 years of relevant experience in an IT role within the Logistics / Warehousing Industry.
• Previous experience in managing a team.

Our client, a third-party logistics services solutions provider is seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager for their healthcare multi-user warehousing and transport operations. The primary aims of this role is to achieve business in line with the company’s expectations as well as achieve target revenues and profit margins for the healthcare multi-user warehousing and transport operations, and other value-added services as directed. These aims will be achieved through the development/ maintenance of existing accounts and new business acquisition.

Key Accountabilities inculdes:
• Actively look for ways to increase margins as per company key focus areas in line with the trends, in particular in relation to the Healthcare Warehousing and Transport Services
• Responsible for spot sales of space/other services in the multi-user healthcare warehouses, in particular for seasonal storage
• Responsible for the sales plan and sales delivery of the transport services and other value-added services
• Analyse and demonstrate customer industry specific knowledge and trends
• Analyse marketing, customer and competitor information
• Identify/ select key influences internal and external and understand their decision-making processes
• Understand current and future capabilities of company’s service offerings
• Ensure all required reports are accurate and submitted within the set timeframes
• Develop analytical skills to establish customer’s business and logistics management needs
• Demonstrate knowledge of supply chain management
• Present the services to offer solutions that meet customer’s needs
• Demonstrate organisational and personal benefits of our services to customers
• Follow up with qualified written information to the customer, including producing responses to other line of services

• Master’s degree desirable
• National CPC holder or International CPC holder in Transport is desirable
• Minimum 3 years at managerial level handling contract management/ sales/ account development role within a logistics/ distribution Company
• Demonstrate experience of warehousing and transport activity on a multi-user and multi-site basis
• Sound understanding of supply chain principles and organisation logistics
• Customer contact at various levels

Job Objectives:
The Project & Business Development Manager will be responsible for the initiation of research and identification of new potential projects, feasibility studies and selection of the projects and the planning and management of the projects until delivery.
Business Development:
· Ability to identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
· Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities. Screen potential business deals by analysing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
· Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
· Must be able to close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
Project Management:
· Manage feasibility studies for new projects, research and compile information for presentation to CEO and VP, Board, Community & Investors
· Handling the project from the initial stages of planning, managing the project and ensuring the project is complete as per the plan and time frame. Providing insight on project management where necessary.
· Responsible for the coordination and communication of interests between all parties in the most transparent manner possible, ensuring the flow of communication between the clients and managing directors are clear.
· Oversee the project to ensure the desired results are achieved, the most efficient resources are used and the different interests involved are satisfied.
· The project manager should make sure they control risk and minimize uncertainty and making sure that quality standards are met.
· Organising the various professional people working on a project, including the recruitment of specialists and sub-contractors, Supervision and Monitoring all staff that are working on the project to make sure guidelines are maintained.
· Ensure that a project is completed on time and within budget, and that the project's objectives are met. Overseeing the accounting, costing and billing of the project.
Other Responsibilities:
· Work closely with the property management company to review, assess and make recommendations about execution of regular maintenance.
· Participate in development of scope of work and financial planning for major renovations, possibly including some day-to-day construction management of such projects.
Qualifications & Education
· Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Construction Management / Urban Planning / Community Development / Asset Management / Business or similar relevant field preferred.
· Minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience in a similar role, handling Project Management & Business Development.
· Candidate must have strong sales skills with the ability to close deals and meet sales targets.
· Candidate must have excellent communication skills, with a strong command in the English Language.
· Problem solving skills, must be able to think outside of the box.
· Strong IT skills – Must have knowledge in using various programs to track big projects and staff progress, such as MS Projects.

The person will essentially be working and leading within a team to deliver various projects for the Bank. Manage the implementation of technology projects and changes, providing subject matter expertise based on an in-depth understanding of the bank’s systems, processes and functional business requirements and help design and develop technical solutions while supporting business with the management and maintenance of business systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Introduce new processes and systems and redefine and transform existing processes to align with changing business and technology needs.
• Manage and deliver technology projects and changes by engaging with various internal and external stakeholders and adopting the project management framework to ensure projects are completed within the defined timelines.
• Develop and design technology solutions through business and application architecture principles and maintain efficient and agile technology for the business.

• Manage the development, configuration, parameters, testing, deployment of technology changes and transition to production while extending support and guidance to business users for planning/conducting software acceptance testing.
• Manage planning and budgeting for technology projects and coordinate and contribute for preparation of business initiated technology projects, monitoring the financial performance against the budget for the Bank, not limited to monitoring performance to rectify and improve any unsatisfactory performance.
• Set performance objectives, provide necessary support, evaluate and appraise the team and regular feedback on performance.
• Manage the effective achievement of the team’s objectives through setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing the team and providing formal and informal feedback to maximise overall performance, engagement and motivation.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in the field of IT / Computer Science or equivalent.
• Around 10 years of experience in technology services within banking industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity for management of financial applications / technical systems.
• PMP / Prince 2 / ITIL certification or equivalent.
• Preference will be given to Bahraini nationals.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
