In this role, you will develop high-performing people and teams, leading and supporting them to make an impact that matters, and setting the direction to deliver exceptional client service During your tenure as a Manager in Financial Advisory, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas: • Understands and applies quality assurance and risk management procedures in all areas of work performed • Ability to build mathematical representation of various clients’ scenarios and generate robust insights to drive data-driven decision making • Ability to analyze financial statements, manage budgets and resources, forecast accurately, while remaining compliant with the organizational and legal guidelines • Ability to understand the concepts of valuations of business entities, assets in order to help client’s management identify and manage business and transaction issues, analyze alternatives and execute solutions • Ability to identify, measure and advise on financial risk for clients arising in the course of business activities in order to assist clients improve and sustain their business performance • Ability to leverage end-to-end knowledge of an M&A transaction in order to manage and lead multiple clients/projects at different stages of an M&A cycle efficiently on client engagements • Identifies and solves problems objectively using analysis, experience and judgment • Prepares and manages work plans to ensure efficient and timely completion of work • Ability to lead a diverse team of talented performance enhancement advisors • Ability to lead the development of analysis and reports for clients • Ability to manage the development of supporting analysis including financial models • Ability to cultivate relationships with clients and to their highest potential Specialized Technical capabilities: • Understands emerging technology and leverages it to work with a team to anticipate emerging threats for the clients while strengthening their compliance and risk programs • Able to guide and lead a team in conducting extensive fact-finding and investigations into allegations of corporate fraud or officers/employees' misconduct or financial mismanagement by leveraging strong financial acumen and advanced analytics • Collaborates with the Deloitte Audit team in order to assist clients meet regulatory requirements for fraud component of audit • Demonstrates strong understanding of social media analytics and is able to incorporate it into proactive and reactive investigations • Demonstrates thorough knowledge of key laws and regulations to help clients manage crisis, investigations and disputes in a timely fashion, and to increase effectiveness of pro-active forensic solutions • Obtain certifications for the Industry, tools, or applications used for client delivery such as (but not limited to) PMP, Information Governance, Encase, Relativity, FTK, XRY • Leads a team to analyze financial or accounting data and conduct interviews to identify financial or accounting irregularities and patterns of conduct • Able to assess risk and damages exposure, perform financial analyses and develop damages theories to provide valuable financial insight and clarity to counsel • Manages a team to work with law firms and directly with our clients to provide independent, objective Expert Witness Services to assess the quantum of a specific claim and/or to give evidence in cases on liability involving alleged accounting or audit negligence • Leverages professional experience, resources and technology to ensure that claims are processed as accurately, consistently and expeditiously as possible • Leads a team to develop economic and statistical models in consultation • Able to visualize data allowing complex data structures, relationships and trends to be visible and easy to navigate, and uncover patterns and correlations in complex data for clients • Manages and leads cross-functional team (s) to draw on capabilities from Financial Advisory, ERS and Consulting in order to assist financial institutions with compliance, prevention, detection, investigation, remediation, testing, and monitoring of financial crimes • Demonstrates strong awareness and understanding of anti-fraud/financial crime/anti-corruption laws and regulations to assess existing programs of clients, identifies gaps in the Requirements
• 6+ years or more experience in financial consulting (Financial Advisory/ Corporate Finance) or Investment Banking/ Merchant Banking, preferably in Corporate Finance Department with experience in areas such as business valuations, mergers & acquisitions, due diligence, financial modeling and re-structuring, raising debt or equity. • Demonstrated ability to manage people and plan components of engagements along with ensuring deliverables meet work plan specifications and deadlines. • Recognized accounting qualification and/or CFA/CBV/CA certification preferred - otherwise MBA or equivalent, with emphasis on finance/financial planning or investment analysis. • Strong Interpersonal & Communication skills. • Motivated, dedicated, dynamic & hard worker. • Advanced level of technical proficiency and computer literacy particularly with spreadsheets (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Bilinguals (Arabic & English) preferred.
