To be qualified for the role, preferably you
should be a Chartered Engineer with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
with 10 years of experience in design delivery of commercial and residential
projects for an international consultancy, in the Middle East. Experience using
analytical/design software such as Revit and Amtech is mandatory.
A major part of the role will be to manage and develop people both locally and internationally and work closely with other design disciplines to ensure coordination and successful and timely project delivery.

to join our team in Qatar as a Public Relations officer.
The Public Communication/Public Relations Officer (PRO) forms an integral part of the project team, supporting the delivery of written and visual content and media, the provision of public information and data, community and stakeholder engagement and other social responsibility activities
Responsibilities and needed expertise are broadly defined hereafter but not limited to:
• Creation and management of beneficial stakeholder relationships with project area VIPs, businesses and residents, including proactive management and mitigation of issues and responses to customer complaints and feedback
• Co-ordination with internal departments to provide timely public notice announcements (such as road closures, outages, delays, openings and traffic diversions)

We are currently looking for Studies Specialist
Engineers with fifteen (15) years of experience in Design, Planning,
Realization, and Operation of the power system and network studies {with at
least five (5) years’ experience in power system studies using the PSS/E} for
our ongoing project in Kuwait.
You will be responsible for conducting all power system studies such as load flow, short-circuit and stability etc. as requested by different departments and in particular for the Operation Department of Control Centers and assist the expert studies engineer in preparation of different reports giving recommendations for the reinforcement of the transmission networks voltages ranging from 11 (not the Primary Distribution system) to 400 KV of the Ministry of Electricity & Water.
Responsibilities and needed expertise are broadly defined hereafter but not limited to:
• Good working experience in using the available Off line PSS/E software programs so as to study and review the operational needs for the existing and suitability of the planned additions to the power system in future.
• To conduct system studies such as load flow, short circuit, transient stability,……. etc. as required or requested by using latest Offline PTI Power System Simulator for Engineers (PSS/E) on his own and assist the studies expert engineer in performing the required studies.
• To analyze the system dynamic behavior and accordingly update the operational policies for all system components with the co-operation of the Operation Engineer taking into consideration failure of two elements at the same time could they be generating plant, transmission lines, transformers or any combination of them.
• To assist the Expert Studies Engineer in conducting the peak load and minimum load analysis for the system and submit detailed reports for the reinforcement of the system.
• To assist the Expert Studies Engineer in conducting the expected summer peak load and expected winter minimum load analysis for the system and submit detailed reports for the reinforcement of the system and any required reactive compensation.
