Job Description 
Role Requirements  - Planning and execution of IT consulting assignments for our clients in Government, Banking & Financial, Investment, Oil & Gas, Hospitality and Telecom industries.  - Preparing risk based IT Consulting Project Plan. - Engage with IT Managers or mid-senior level clients in consulting engagements related to ITIL, ISO 27001, COBIT, or other such standards. - Conduct opening and exit meetings with the client. - Prepare, discuss and finalize IT Consulting or Review reports. - Monitor and ensure the smooth conduct of the IT consulting engagement. - Carry out assignments as per the Project plan and within the allocated time budget. - Review project files. - Train and provide guidance to junior staff in their areas of work for all round development. - Identify potential business development opportunities. - Maintain healthy relationship with all levels of the client personnel at all times. - Capable to handle multiple assignments across various industries.  - Minimum 2 years of IT consulting experience. The candidate will have experience in one of the following areas:           o Ability to understand business and IT processes of various industries          o Exposure to a well-structured Project management or risk assessment techniques          o Exposure to ISO 27001 / ITIL / ISO 20000 standards and frameworks - Chartered Accountant / Bachelors in Computer Science or Information Technology. - CISA / CISSP/ PMP/ ITIL (Expert) is compulsory. - Strong written and oral communication is essential requirement for the role. - Other potential certifications ISO 27001 LA / ITIL (Foundation), CCIE (Security).  Key Personal Attributes  - A good blend of creative thinking and rigorous analysis in solving business problems. - A strong client focus by effectively serving client needs and developing productive working relationships with client personnel.  - Stay abreast of current business and economic developments and new pronouncements/ standards relevant to the client's business. - Must work well in a team-oriented environment as well as independently. Work with team members to set goals and responsibilities for specific engagements. Foster teamwork and innovation. - Ability to work under pressure. Mature, proactive and displays initiative. Possess excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Manages own and others time well.  - Ability to travel as necessary to meet client needs. The Role 
Our Client is a leading multinational engineering firm, currently looking to hire a Senior Resident Engineer from a structural background for a major retail development project. The main purpose of this role will be to ensure the Contractor’s compliance with the Contract Documents with regards to the Building works and associated elements of the Contract.  Responsibilities: • Perform the duties of the Senior Resident Engineer on site. • Overall coordination of the entire project management, contractual and technical team. • Representing the Firm and the main point of contact towards the client and acts as the Clients prime point of contact for the construction supervision aspects of the project, including progress reporting, safety, financial recommendations, quality control and design modifications. • Managing the planning and resource allocation for the project, identifies the resource requirements for the effective supervision of the construction works, and works with the project controls team to gain client approval for staffing if and when required. • Builds a trusted relationship with the management team and with the client's counterpart staff • Establishes an appropriate working relationship with the contractors • Places an emphasis on safe construction practices (Target Zero) and implementation of the HSE monitoring and reporting processes and procedures on maintaining a high quality of safe construction. Leads by example in driving safe practices on site. • Uses effective project management and controls systems to regularly report on progress to the client. • Attending meetings with the Client, Contractor and other Consultants • Supervising the Contractor’s work to achieve construction in accordance with the contract documents • Reviewing Contractor’s technical submissions and Ensuring all materials and equipment meet the required specifications • Providing all necessary on-site directions and instructions • Ability to coordinate and monitor all disciplines of work related to the project, this includes both management of the supervision team as well as the contractors, subcontractors and other specialists. • Skilled in the management and control of contractors and sub-contractors in conformance with contract documents, drawings and specifications this includes a working knowledge with local and international specifications that may relate to the project. • Monitoring the progress of works and updating, planning and preparing progress reports as required until handing over the project. • Establishes and enforces effective project quality control procedures and ensures that they are audited in accordance with the contract requirements and the firm’s internal systems. • Manage software and systems required under the contract for the administration of the project construction supervision. • Evaluates, selects, and adapts construction management and control techniques, procedures, and criteria to suit job tasks, and devises and implements solutions to problems encountered. • Ensures that the Resident Engineer team members effectively identify, manage and report project risks. • Performs staff evaluations of the project team and acts as the senior manager for all matters related to direct reports evaluations 
Requirements 
• Candidates must have previous experience (within last 5 years) as the Senior Resident Engineer • 5 years experience within the GCC • A minimum 20 year's post graduate experience in the design, site supervision and construction management of major projects, Mixed use Buildings / Malls/ Large projects (set-up/ delivery/ completion/ handover) has run projects start to finish • Relevant Bachelors Degree as a minimum, Masters preferred

Requirements
