Job Description 

Urgently required for a HYUNDAI ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION COMPANY for their KAUSEWAY (BRIDGE) Projects in Kuwait.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES   
1. Identifies potential activities and situations that might require contracts and agreements and coordinates with all parties as needed. 2. Creates and corrects request for proposals and related supplemental documentation needed to comply with legal requirements and to establish clarity and completeness, 3. Conducts detailed review of all contract packages and related submissions to ensure that requests and proposals are in the best interest of the Company. 4. Prepares and reviews contract drafts and agreements to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with government laws. 5. Coordinates review of contract drafts with Legal Department when needed. 6. Incorporates revisions made by various parties of the contracts and agreements. 7. Ensures that invoices are submitted in the correct amounts and according to contract provisions. 8. Maintains close scrutiny of contract compliance to ensure that goods or services are furnished in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract. 9. Reviews the terms and conditions of each expiring contract/agreement; determines if contracts can be legally renewed or if new contract must be initiated to continue the contracted service. 10. Ensures that reviews of expiring contracts are conducted prior to expiration and recommendations for renewal/nonrenewable are made in a timely fashion. 11. Prepares correspondence, memos, summaries and issue papers in accordance with established formats and specified timelines. 12. Develops and cultivates effective working relationships with a wide variety of contacts to facilitate accomplishing the Company's goals and objectives. 13. Ensures that inquiries, requests for assistance and complaints are responded to promptly  TECHNICAL OR EXPERT KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE    
1. Demonstrated experience in a contract management and a good working knowledge of contract management processes and techniques. 2. High level interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders in providing expert contract management advice to enable achievement of desired outcomes. 3. High level communication skills at all levels (written and verbal) and the ability to undertake negotiations with Client, Consultant, Consortium, subcontractor in the resolution of disputes. 4. Demonstrated investigative and analytical skills including the ability to use MS Excel, Database and Reporting systems. 5. Ability to review, develop and implement guidelines and operating processes. 6. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team to deliver project outcomes within specified parameters including timeframes and objectives. 7. Ability to identify continuous improvement and innovation opportunities in processes to improve effectiveness and efficiency. 8. Ability to work under limited direction, including experience in planning, prioritising and organising work for self and others to achieve goals and deadlines. 9. Demonstrated knowledge of FIDIC and government legislation across the contract.

The Role 
Be a part of our Project Management Consultancy business that spans our five global hubs, where we oversee work for world leading organisations across the public and private sectors.  Purpose: To provide support and advice to account operational teams and the wider business in all areas of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental (QHS&E) compliance and assurance.  Responsibilities Include: • Review & update OHS policy statement. • Implementation and communication of OHS policy. • Review and update of Environment policy. • Implementation and communication of Environmental policy. • Undertake OHS project audits on behalf of the client. • Undertake Environmental project audits on behalf of the client. • Chair and minute OHS committee meetings. • Manage the consultants with the discharge of their respective OHS obligations - monitor performance. • Manage incident reporting and investigations in conjunction with the Principal contractor(s) / Engineer. • Carry out independently regular site safety inspections - record observations and suggested improvements. • Key point of contact regarding in house safety system, Yellow Jacket. • Assist with the implementation of QHSE policies, procedures, guidance notes and standards. • Assist with QHSE compliance registers in the country of operation. • Assist with audits for ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001; and other applicable standards. • Assist in the creation and coordination of annual audits and inspection schedules for accounts, undertake and provide support for Operational. • Promotion of QHSE management systems to all staff. • Identify and communicate areas of improvement and best practice. • Highlight any risks and suggest mitigating corrective actions. • Have a proactive approach to activities and work flexibly to support account teams. 
Requirements 
• Degree / Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health Management • Professional Memberships are an advantage but not essential. • General Industry Certified Safety and Health Specialist. • Environmental Management Qualifications an advantage. • Auditor qualifications for Occupational Safety & Health an advantage. • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite. • Good organization, prioritization and planning skills. • Good record management skills. • Good written and oral communication skills. • Ability to work in a team and alone as the activity requires. • Ability to adapt to learn new non-Microsoft software.  Mace is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
