Job Description 
 - Review of Front End Engineering Design to Detail Engineering design of Rotating Equipment, Packages and associated support system in on-shore oil and gas facilities, Chemical, Petrochemical NGL, LNG, LPG, Utilities and of site, and General Industrial Projects. - Rotating Equipment Selection, preparation of Technical Specifications Equipment Data Sheets and Equipment Data Requisition Sheet (EDRS), Review of Technical Evaluation of Vendor Offers, Technical Query, Technical discussion with Vendor, Vendor Drawings & Documents review, Inspection of the equipments at vendors works. Design, Analysis and Documentation of the Mechanical Equipments and Packages along with the estimation of man-hours. - Participate in KOM with vendors / customer & prepare MOM with identification of action and target date of completion - Monitor and review of design carried out by Engineering Consultants / Companies including Feasibility, Conceptual, Basic and Detailed Engineering and Basic Technical Assessment of Bid Document for Services and Material required for the works execution. - Review of Licensors package & Preparation of FEED / Tender documents for rotary & Packages equipment. - Knowledge of International Codes & Standards such as API, ASME, NFPA, DIN etc. - Familiarity with Hazardous area classification requirement - Review of Engineering SOP and system - Participate and drive in value engineering session for proposal and project - Review of vendor list of rotating equipment and update as required and initiate approval from Customer as needed - Resolution of TQ responses & deviation approval from customer - Ensuring the participation in FAT, run test for pumps, compressor etc. as required - Interpretation of technical requirements (Design Basis, Engineering Specifications, P&ID) given standard specifications of the project for further development of job specifications and mechanical equipment datasheets. - Bid clarification, Man hour estimation, Review of Enquiry / Material Requisition, Vendor Offer & cost estimation. - Reviewing Process Data Sheets, P&IDs, Plot Plans, Equipment Arrangement Drawings & Hazardous area classification documents for preparing inputs to the Enquiry / Purchase Requisitions. - Ensuring that all work within the scope or responsibility of the Package Equipment team is completed in accordance with the accepted project plan and within the man-hour budget allocated. - Ensuring quick resolution of site TQs/Deviations etc. - Participate in HAZOP, HAZID and SIL review - Preparing and delivering training for graduates - Identify risk, gap and mitigate effectively well in advance Shared cross-functionally - Actively communicate with other disciplines to optimize areas of interface during the design development - Support/ implement departmental quality management programs - Provide technical guidance to task force members - Work with teams to develop engineering budgets estimates for work share projects  - Assist with hiring, training, and mentoring  - Ensure proper training programs are conducted within the departments to keep staff current on latest technology and procedures  - Build strong cohesive teams that works together  - Work closely with project teams to establish annual goals and initiatives to advance the teams and maintain a high level of competency and exceptional quality  - Continually communicate with counterparts to understand upcoming projections of staffing needs and take action to meet the varying needs.    Salary: Not Disclosed by Recruiter Industry: Oil and Gas Energy Power Infrastructure Functional Area: Other Role Category:  Education:UG -B.Tech/B.E. - Mechanical

The Role 
Taylor Sterling is looking for an experienced Production Manager (Steel) to join a growing steel firm in UAE. The production manager has a key position in the organisation and a decision-making role in the strategic direction of the young and rapidly growing company. You will be working closely with management, production and logistics.   - Management of the production processes in order to contribute to company objectives: Manages the departments with the aim of achieving the objectives set in the annual business plan.  - Creating an undisturbed production progress and fulfilment of the quantitative and qualitative requirements within the prescribed delivery schedules  - Drafting of and final responsibility for the planning of production orders  - Solving technical, quality and quantity related issues  - Flexible production policy  - Optimal utilization of the machines by organizing and planning the available employees  - Creating an optimal, efficient and economically production process  - Controlling production costs and controlling personnel costs  - Developing, implementing and controlling the procedures for the internal training program of the operator trainees in conjunction with the trainers  - Responsible for the maintenance of machinery, equipment and tooling - Generating technical project data sheets (BVO’s) with the appropriate software - Initiate, develop and design new tooling and equipment which enhances the production process 
Requirements 
- Several years’ experience in a production management position; in manufacturing, production planning, production scheduling or project management / purchasing - Experience in metal processing is an advantage  - Successfully completed bachelor degree technical studies, for example: mechanical engineering, Production engineering, Industrial engineering - Strong leadership and management skills  - Hands-on mentality, Self-motivated, Team player - Excellent communication skills – fluent in written and verbal English
