The Role 
Our client is one of the largest independent, family owned company in the Gulf region. It is one of the most diversified and highly regarded business houses. Our client is looking for a Chief Financial Officer for their office in Bahrain  Reporting to the General Manager, the primary responsibility is delivery on Financial Controls, Corporate Administration and Change Management: establishing and executing a transformation and continuous improvement plan, focused on all areas of the Company.  Key responsibilities include: • Management of the Financial Controls function, overseeing the bi-weekly performance highlights and the monthly, quarterly and annual accounts • Oversee the Billing and Contracts Administration; critically analyze and provide risk assessment on contracts, agreements, strategic partnerships, and project proposals • Manage Group cashflow and banking relationships to ensure consistent and reliable funding and liquidity and adequately mitigate financial risks • Coordinate on opportunities to improve revenues, profitability and reduce business risk • Oversee the implementation of new integrated information systems, to maximize end-to-end efficiency and accuracy in reporting • Provide accurate, timely and astute financial analysis, metrics and advice to the Directors, GM • and the Operations leadership in an entrepreneurial manner • Manage all budgeting, forecasting and business planning activities, as well as bringing transformation to this area through an overhaul and modernization of the processes. • Along with GM and Operations Manager, co-lead, manage, motivate and develop talented staff to deliver results cross-functionally throughout the Company • Drive continual year-on-year productivity improvements and efficiencies. • Responsible for communicating the business strategy and its financial implications to internal and external stakeholders; Board of Directors, GM, Department Heads, Strategic partners, Audit firms, Banks, Advisors, etc. 
Requirements 
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; CPA / MBA / Engineering qualification an advantage • Broad finance and operational skills and experience over 15-20 years (10 years in construction) that includes accounting, controls, budgeting, reporting and risk assessment • Strong leadership, people management and interpersonal skills • Solid experience in leading a multi-national finance and administration team • High aptitude for innovation and project implementation planning and control • Proven record of creating sustainable business improvement through the implementation of strategic and tactical initiatives

The Role 
Client is a globally renowned consulting firm, is looking for a Manager- Energy Sector- Expert Track. An Expert Manager executes & supports client engagements and is responsible to deliver assignments as an advisor.   The key responsibilities are:  Building the Operations Expertise within the firm through: - Playing an active role supporting the commercial agenda, ensuring the topic is being commercially pushed at the right clients and in the right geographies - Contributing to the development of intellectual property within the Practice Area(s), including improving methodologies, tools, techniques and developing new ideas and approaches. - Providing intellectual leadership for their teams by generating key ideas and conceptual frameworks to guide research and analysis. - Supporting and contributing to other projects, for example by sharing expertise or best practices  Working jointly with the firm and client project teams to execute projects, provide expertise and support to the team and to the client on site. - Contributing to business development efforts, including preparation of proposal documents and attending pitch presentations. - Providing apprenticeship and coaching to junior consultants to help develop their consulting skills, including sharing knowledge and experience, giving frequent feedback and creating opportunities for team members to learn and grow - When required, leading the day-to-day execution of consulting projects and ensuring successful delivery of client requirements within the scope of the engagement; including: - Owning the project planning and process management, and communicating progress to clients - Driving development of the content, either directly or by providing guidance to the consulting team (for example, by sharing ideas, frameworks or providing input on research and analysis) - Managing the client relationship on a day-to-day basis - Managing project scope and maintaining an acceptable pace of work  Actively support in managing multiple client and stakeholder relationships.  Leading senior client presentations and meetings. 
Requirements 
- Strong academics from a top-tier institution - An MBA is desirable, but not essential - At least 7 years of work experience in top level advisory or consulting firm, though candidates with excellent industry backgrounds and previous consulting experience would also be considered - Proven experience of Supply Chain Management, Procurement excellence, Operational transformation, Change program, Digital in operations. - Proven experience within the Energy Industry. - International experience also outside Middle East area would be taken into consideration. - A track record of leadership and achievement  Professional Skills - Analytical and structured - Advanced quantitative analysis - Solid business acumen and commercial capabilities - Problem solving – able to take a creative and an hypothesis driven approach in order to solve complex problems - Willingness to travel internationally and to work remotely on client sites - Excellent communication and persuasion skills - Excellent written and spoken English (Other languages would be also be desirable, but not essential)  Personal Attributes - Flexible, curious and creative, open for new things and able to propose innovative ideas - Independent and autonomous judgment - Team player, open, pleasure to work with and positive in a group dynamic - Intercultural competence and experience of working in more than one country and/or multi-cultural teams - Driven, hard-working, entrepreneurial, proactive and productive - Highest ethical standards
