PURPOSE OF THE JOB  The role would work closely with the Regional Head of Internal Audit and is responsible for integrated internal audits and special reviews to provide assurance regarding the existence and effectiveness of financial, compliance, operational & IT internal controls and consulting services.All Group and professional ethical standards shall be maintained.  Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee may perform other related duties as required to meet on going needs of the work.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  Support and assist the regional Head of Internal Audit in the execution of his key areas of responsibility.  Assist the regional Head of Internal Audit in preparing periodic internal audit metrics, heat maps and other dash board for monthly reporting. Reviewing audit universe for inclusion or exclusion of new entities. Participate in developing audit objectives, plans, and scope consistent with the audit charter, business objectives, the assessment of audit risk, client needs, and the audit needs/priorities communicated by the top management or Group Internal Audit. Scheduling audits, determining the resources that are necessary, and seeing that the approved audit plan is accomplished to the extent staffing allows. Communicating with those who need to know about audits and interfacing with personnel throughout the Group, particularly those being audited, to resolve audit issues and achieve the desired improvement actions. Reasonable proficiency in applying information systems audit principles, skills and techniques in directing computer applications, information systems technology of varying complexity utilized by the company. Execute variety of audit engagements independently and assist in special assignment upon request or need basis. Supervising audits and reviewing the work performed to insure the adequacy of audit scope, the adequacy of testing performed and the accuracy of conclusions reached.  Documenting audit objectives and time budgets, providing suitable instructions, and approving the audit program before fieldwork begins. Seeing that the approved program is carried out. Determining that work papers support the findings. Ensuring that reports are accurate, objective, clear, concise, constructive, and timely. Determining that objectives are met. Evaluating auditor performance, providing on-the-job training, and counseling auditors to strengthen the person's knowledge/skills/development. Evaluating auditor performance, providing on-the-job training, and counseling auditors to strengthen the person's knowledge/skills/development. Facilitating the audit process by resolving issues and staff questions during the day to day progress of audits. Performing related work as assigned by the regional Head of Internal Audit. Editing audit reports to facilitate recommendations and ultimately improvement actions. Work with Head of Internal Audit to frame team training and knowledge sharing methodology. Pursuing professional development opportunities, including external and internal training and professional association memberships, and sharing information gained with co-workers. Developing and maintaining productive client, staff, and management relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.  Qualification, Experience and Skills Bachelor's degree (Masters is desirable) in Accounting/ Finance. Professional certification CA and others preferred - CIA, CFE, CISA Must be computer literate with good command of MS office packages and working in SAP environment.  Must be able to handle teams More than 6-8 years of experience in a multinational organization including big four accounting firm.

The process engineering should be in unit monitoring and optimization. The candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively. The successful candidate is expected to spend 40 to 60% of their time in the refinery, directing, and working with other process engineers and coordinating with operations and maintenance personnel on optimizing the plant.  The incumbent is expected to contribute to a positive working environment with a continued commitment to safety. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:   
Provide plant engineering support in optimizing, troubleshooting and overall improvement of unit operation 
Develop, communicate and execute process metrics and KPIs to optimize process operational performance 
Supervise the development and maintenance of HYSYS simulation models for major refinery units, including Visbreaker, Crude, Vacuum, Platformer, and Isomax 
Coordinate with the Planning and Schedule group to supervise process engineers is support for LP model for production planning purposes 
Participate in the planning of the annual capital expenditure program 
Facilitate the transfer of technical knowledge related to process optimization through mentoring and training to junior Process Engineers. Strong verbal communication skills are essential 
This position entails minimal process design/modeling and is primarily a support role to Operations and Planning & Scheduling. 
 Qualifications:   
Bachelor of Chemical or Process Engineering Degree required 
Minimum 8 years experience in a refinery, gas processing plant, or organic chemical plant as a unit monitoring/optimization engineer. Experience as a process design engineer or unit startup engineer does not meet this qualification. 
Must have at least 5 years as a process operations engineer. 
Previous experience in the operation of one or more of the following process units: Visbreaker, Crude, Vacuum, Platformer, or Hydrocracker. 
Previous experience with LP modeling preferred 
Previous experience with HYSYS programming required
