The key objectives of the role are to;
• Undertake comprehensive access design appraisals and audits of all buildings types
• Undertake comprehensive physical access audits of all buildings types
• Contribute to publications and journals, including housing design guidance
• Contribute to the development of methods and tools use to deliver accessibility services 
• Offer information, guidance and advice to clients based on The Dubai Universal Design Code and international best practice standards
• Undertake access audits using a prescribed format which includes prioritising recommendations and giving budgetary indicators 
• Visit clients at their premises as necessary to promote, deliver training or consultancy services

Senior SharePoint Developer

We\'re currently working on a major roads and drainage project in Doha. As part of the Programme Systems division we are looking to recruit Senior Share Point Developer.

As a senior SharePoint/.Net Developer you will be responsible for the day to day development and support of the SharePoint environment and installed related products. You will work with the SharePoint Team to deliver and support stable and qualitative SharePoint solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Ability to understand and analyse project requirements and translate into specifications and programming deliverables
- Work with software engineers and senior management to enhance existing applications and build additional applications as we grow
- Enhance and productize our configuration tool to have it useable by our customers and product Partners
- Assist with designing and implementing enhanced BI capabilities across out product suite Work with others on the engineering team and conform to our SDLC in Agile Environment
- Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
- Must be able to understand and analyse project requirements and translate specifications / UML / Design to implementation.
- Ability to adjust to changing priorities.

As a senior SharePoint/.Net Developer you will be responsible for the day to day development and support of the SharePoint environment and installed related products. You will work with the SharePoint Team to deliver and support stable and qualitative SharePoint solutions.

- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related Technical degree
- Minimum 5 years experience in delivering SharePoint based solutions for the business using SharePoint standard functionalities and customization with both SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio
- Strong overall programming experience building web-based and large scale systems required
- Expert skills and knowledge of the Microsoft SharePoint platforms (2010 & 2013)
- Expert skills and knowledge with SQL Server Enterprise Edition (developing storedprocedures, triggers, complex views) , Knowledge of working in Clustered SQL Server environment

Operation Specialist Engineer

We are currently looking for Operation Specialist Engineers for our project in Kuwait. You will be responsible for operation of the power system comprising of generating stations and transmission networks ranging from 11 KV (not the Primary Distribution system) to 400 KV of the MEW in a reliable and secure way in addition to fulfilling the quality standards followed by the Ministry and will coordinate with all departments of the Ministry in discharging the duties on day to day basis, and preparation of all operational reports for submission to the higher Ministry Officials.

Responsibilities and needed expertise are broadly defined hereafter but not limited to:
• Will be responsible for operating the electrical system in more efficient and reliable way. 
• To see that the Control Room Operators maintain the system frequency and voltages within the prescribed limits for safe and stable operation of the system. 
• To arrange for all switching operations on the Electrical System being monitored by NCC / DCCs and co-ordinate such works with other CCs /TEN / EDN and Power Stations for operational or maintenance purposes. 
• To arrange for shut down & startup of Generating Plant when required to meet the expected load Demand. 
• To establish in coordination with the operation planning expert engineer the restoration procedures for different scenarios those might result in partial or complete black outs. 
• Checking, compilation and preparation of all information needed for the proper, secure and reliable operation of the power network. 
• Approval to the requested emergency shutdown programs for the network and power plants. 
• Implementation of Scheduled power system outages and to ascertain that they do not affect the reliability and stability of the remaining system. 
• Preparation of all operational reports. 
• Preparation and updating of all network drawings 
• Keeping the records pertaining to system operation 
• Standard Instructions and regulations for Power System Operations for the Control Center and Power Stations.
Experienced in Power System Operation for at least twenty five (25) years out which at least ten (10) years in a responsible position as an operation engineer for network of similar size as that of State of Kuwait and should have thorough knowledge of operational criteria under normal and abnormal system conditions. Preference shall be given to a person familiar with the SCADA and EMS systems.

Operation Planning Expert Engineer

We are currently looking for Operation Planning Expert Engineers for our project in Kuwait. You will be responsible for operation planning in the short term / medium term for the availability of generation resources to meet the forecasted load including any power import or export agreement and required spinning reserves with all coordination activities with Gulf Co-operation Council Interconnection Authority (GCCIA) and to approve the outages on the power system comprising of generating stations and transmission system ranging from 11 (not the Primary Distribution system) to 400 KV of the Ministry of Electricity & Water.

Responsibilities and needed expertise are broadly defined hereafter but not limited to: 

- To plan short term (a week ahead), medium term (a year ahead) and long term (Two years ahead) power generation and transmission resources. 
- To make Load Forecast in the short, medium and long term and allocation of generation to different power stations according to the available and planned power units and the Network capacities in such a way that optimal load flow results even in contingencies. 
- Checking, compilation and preparation of all documents pertaining to system operational statistics. 
- Analysis of Abnormal Reports / Post Mortem reports and their follow up & analysis with conclusion drawn and reporting for adoption of recommendations to avoid recurrence of such abnormal incidents. 
- To evaluate the operational methods & procedures being followed and preparation of reports for their improvements 
- To establish in coordination with the operation specialist engineer the restoration procedures for different scenarios concerning system faults resulting in partial or complete black outs.
Experienced in Power System Operation Planning for at least fifteen (15) years out which at least Ten (10) years in a responsible position as an operation planning engineer for the interconnected West European network and should have thorough knowledge of operational criteria under normal and abnormal system conditions and in particular interconnection transactions and contracts management. In addition, one should have experience in using the available Siemens Spectrum On Line Software system for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Energy Management System comprising of Network Analysis, Generation Control & Scheduling, Expert system and Dispatcher Training Simulation applications.
