As Manager Events and Exhibitions you will plan, manage, coordinate and execute Qatar Airways global program of events and exhibitions, whilst leading and developing a team of industry professionals who will support and execute your objectives.

Included in your responsibilities will be launching new destinations and products, air shows and other events where the Qatar Airways brand can be showcased and promoted. You will identify and evaluate new opportunities to promote the brand through new or extended program of events. You will drive Head Office led activities globally supporting regional offices and outstations, ensuring best practice is achieved by developing materials and templates that can be used globally. You will provide guidance and training to regional marketing teams and ensure that Qatar Airways brand is showcased and positioned in the best possible way at every event or exhibition.
To join our 5-star team in this role you will need a Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, marketing, public relations or communications combined with a minimum of 7 years in event management experience.

You will have impeccable English communication skills with strong project management skills with a demonstrable track record of on-time and on-budget delivery of events and exhibitions in an international context.

You will have experience managing a team with the ability to motivate and develop others to achieve a high standard of service delivery. Ideally, you will have worked with large international brands.

You will be responsible to control the day to day running operations of the department. Accountable for the management of the department in relation to cost control, resource planning, operational change management and reporting of KPI’s and ensuring that the department remains completely compliant with the SLA’s. Also, accountable for all performance and improvement initiative and implementation. To coordinates with other departments to ensure all products packed, sanitized and distributed on time. Ensures all equipment\'s are kept in service, minimizing the impact to the operations and service to the customer.

Accountabilities:

Operational
• Develop, manage implementation and conduct training programs in conjunction with Qatar Aircraft Catering Company (QACC) managers.
• Ensure full training program is in place and fully operational, training programs target all employees and ensure compliance with company new hire, as- needed, and annual refresher.
• Organizes the implementation of senior management instructions including customer service, handling, food safety, HACCAP, quality control and health and safety.
• Establishes and manages forecasting and analysis procedures for determining load factor trends to establish an appropriate level of required staffing and scheduling
• Monitors that all Qatar Airways (QR) corporate, customer, airport, customs and Ministry Of Interior (MOI) policies and procedures are followed.
• Prepare clear reports with facts and figures in case of flight delays/accident incident or any operational Emergencies pertaining to the Airline Services departments

Management & Leadership
• Establish the department and duty officer\'s objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives and needs.
• Regularly evaluate the department or teams objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed.
• Oversee and supervise employees. Direct daily activities, recruit, train, develop and discipline to ensure a high standard is met.
• Responsible to ensure full productivity is achieved in the department.
• To assist with the recruitment of staff

Development
• Responsible to ensure that employees at all levels understand work health and safety requirements and expectations through provision of relevant QR Group induction, information, instruction, training and supervision.
• Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, security, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the operation to assure employee safety, security, legislative compliance and delivery of high quality service with a responsible environment attitude.
• Ensure that all managers and supervisors understand work health and safety requirements and expectations to the extent that they can pass on relevant information, identity training needs and provide appropriate supervision in their workplace
• Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent
• Expert- minimum 7 years of job-related experience required
• Minimum 5 years experience in flight catering operations as manager


Job Specific Skills
• Strong MS office-skills including Word, Excel Power point.
• Managerial skills- Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong monitoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate\'s skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members

Preferred
• Flight Catering Operations( Dishwashing and Equipment or operations management)
• 10 years experience in Airline Catering Operations management

We are looking for a specialist with expertise in IT Network & Security. Successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the 24x7 IT Network & Security Infrastructure, carry out Network & Security management tasks and other proactive steps ensuring the multiple services offered across Qatar Airways IT Network & Security infrastructure are secure, reliable and uninterrupted.

You will support projects, operational activities and maintain up-time of the IT Network & Security infrastructure technologies e.g. Routers/Switches, Firewalls/VPN , ACS, Antivirus, Proxy, PacketShaper, NGX Firewalls, Wireless infrastructure and SSL VPN. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Attend to incidents and problems as well as performing system administrative activities
• Troubleshoot, error correction, problem resolution and root cause response to high priority and severity Incidents.
• Maintaining the highest standards for security in a large enterprise environment.
• Plan changes, perform impact assessment, implement changes and perform pre and post implementation change reviews
• Providing solution to application owners to securely deploy mission-critical applications and networks in a highly reliable manner
• Responsible for capacity, utilization and make recommendations for upgrades, scale up, scale outs etc.
• Make sure endpoints connected to the network are up to date with latest antivirus definitions. Run diagnostic tools to identify unknown threats and report the same to product specialist to provide new signatures.
• Configure Network threat protection firewall to secure endpoints.
• Provide authorized access to internet using proxy solutions and URL filtering.
You should hold a Diploma in Computer Sciences or equivalent qualification with minimum 7 years of relevant experience in managing network technologies e.g. Cisco switching & Routing, VSS, HSRP, VLAN’s, STP, VTP,BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Cisco Nexus platform, Cisco Prime and Aruba wireless LAN infrastructure;

Excellent knowledge of IPSec Site-to-Site, IPSec Remote access and SSL VPN You should have Certifications in CCNA Routing & Switching, CCNA Security, CCNP Routing & Switching, CCIE Security Written or above.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of associates in the organization. Strong customer service and conflict management skills in providing support and direction to team members, other IT staff and business stakeholders for problem solving and decision making.

In this role, you will support the Country Manager in developing, planning and implementing all marketing activity, so as to drive revenue and grow loyalty for all QR products from all distribution channels and target audiences as defined in the country portfolio. You will contribute to the delivery of the revenue targets by assisting in the development and implementation of the marketing strategy for existing and new markets. You will ensure compliance to marketing and commercial strategy across the market and ensures that marketing activities are performed to plan and budget. Specific accountabilities include:
• Defines and implements a multi-channel marketing strategy to deliver growth by identifying and targeting new customers and maximizing existing customer relationships.
• Defines and implements a cohesive brand strategy across the entirety of the region; assuming the role of brand guardian and driving appropriate engagement with the customer in all forms of communication.
• Manages both online and offline marketing functions.
• Delivers marketing approach which is driven by data, customer insight and a clear understanding of return on investment from the activity.
• Clear understanding of the commercial environment and an ability to creates timely and effective tactical campaigns.
• Build strong relationships with commercial marketing partners and deliver effective mutually beneficial joint marketing vehicles.
To be effective in this role, you will need a Bachelors degree (ideally in Marketing or Communications) combined with a minimum of five years of job related experience, with exposure to brand or trade marketing. You will need an expert knowledge of key marketing concepts, media planning, ATL/BTL activities along with prior campaign development and management experience. Experience within the travel or airline industry would be well regarded along with exposure to PR/Loyalty/Events and Market Research.

You will need to be fluent (written and spoken) in English and Arabic to perform this role.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering the Revenue Budget for the prescribed portfolio of accounts. This will include developing a successful, consistent approach to local and international dealing, which drives maximum revenue and minimum cost of sale. You will gain maximum value for the airline by negotiating Commercial Agreements between parties. You will also engage in joint sales and marketing activity to grow the level and quality of QR revenue sold through these partners and drive efficiencies in the distribution processes. 

Specific accountabilities include:
• Contributing to the formulation and implementation of QR sales strategy to maximise short and long term revenue opportunities, reduce cost of sales and generating channel shift where appropriate
• Reviewing QR sales data with account portfolio to drive revenue and seek out tactical revenue opportunities
• Managing and coordinating projects and initiatives on behalf of area of responsibility
• Developing tactical sales and marketing activity in support of sales opportunities in both Trade Partners and Corporate market place
• Representing QR at trade events, promotions and sales functions, including supporting educational and familiarisation visits
• Performing other related functions, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit
To be successful in this role, you will need Trade or Vocational qualification combined with a minimum of four years airline sales experience working directly for an airline, or within an Agency or TMC environment. Prior exposure to QR systems, such as the Amadeus GDS system, and the ability to interpret available data would be advantageous. You will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills combined with the ability to influence the negotiation of commercial contracts. You will be a team player, with strong organisational, planning and time management skills combined with good commercial awareness and business acumen. The ability to analyse and interpret data and then articulate to external customers is required.

You will need to be fluent (written and oral) in English to be effective in this role.
