Job Description for Network Engineer Core Skills 5 -7 years of experience on networking technologies including Cisco, Juniper devices in a large scale, highly available operational data network. Strong understanding of TCP/IP. Solid understanding of Layer2 and Layer3 traffic forwarding Strong experience in Cisco / Juniper device configuration and troubleshooting Experience in administering and troubleshooting F5, Cisco, Juniper and Citrix load-balancers Strong troubleshooting, event correlation and analytical skills Good Understanding of MPLS concepts, L3VPNs Working knowledge on dynamic routing protocols, primarily OSPF and BGP. Working experience on Cisco 6500, Nexus switches WAN technologies; ATM, Frame Relay, knowledge of T1/E1, DS3/E3, OC3, STM1, STM4 Understanding of Network Management practices, procedures and tools Working knowledge of packet capture and analysis tools. Knowledge of Unix Shell Scripting, Perl and Python Scripting is a big plus Ability to integrate scripting and networking skills to produce quality scripts for automation. Good knowledge of Wireless LAN technologies Ability to read, understand & produce Engineering Network Design documentation

Based on a comprehensive understanding of microfinance, the incumbent is expected to work on Institutional Assessment of specific institutions to which he/she may be assigned for. This would include interviewing staff and clients of select institutions, collecting information, analyzing them and submitting required reports and documentation. Further, giving recommendations on capacity building and Institutional Training and in the delivery of this training and co-development of requisite tools for the purpose Duties/Areas of Responsibility: Conduct market research using tools like survey and Focus Group Discussions on Housing microfinance as and when required and submit reports agreed upon Carry out Institutional Housing Microfinance Readiness Assessment and other Financial service providers, using existing tools and customizing them when required
Submit a report and/or present the report internally or externally, to the institution that was assessed Train Management Teams in Housing Microfinance product and processes and Housing Support Services, in the delivery of these services to clients and work on customizing the related training materials Carry out research on the Housing Finance for Low cost Housing or on related topics and submit requisite reports Assist in Institutional Assessment to facilitate using appropriate tools and submit a report Willingness to travel to client sites for assessments, follow up, training, etc Identify viable leads that could be converted into assignments, resulting in resulting in the development, launch and/or scale up of Housing Microfinance programs
