Reviews work produced to ensure that applicable codes, standards, and procedures are followed and quality is acceptable. Monitors productivity and technical proficiency of assigned personnel. Makes staffing assignments and reassignments as project needs arise. Review quality of work on all ongoing works.

Ensure compliance with standards and specifications for pavement design and workmanship. 

Helps to define discipline design organization and participation on a project, including scope of work, design criteria, schedules, standards, and procedures.

Promotes technical excellence on the project, including furthering the Quality Improvement Process.

Ensures that discipline design work is coordinated with project staff and Engineers from other disciplines by maintaining clear and frequent communications.

Advises engineering and project management regarding any problem areas, staffing requirements, delays in production, scope changes, or other events which could affect project completion and/or profitability.

Initiates and/or reviews change order requests for additions, deletions, or changes to the original scope of work.

Ensures that adequate checking is performed in accordance with discipline checking policy and procedures.

Recommends design methods, equipment use, etc., for discipline standards.

Maintains affiliation with professional societies to keep abreast of current technologies.

Recommends and prepares technical papers.

Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Degree in Civil Engineering from an internationally recognized accredited University with minimum 15 years of general experience in design, site supervision and construction management of which 10 works in major highway projects.

Particular emphasis on Quality Assurance Specifications and Statistical Quality Control. Should be able to review and justify the material submissions analyze laboratory and technical reports, carry out acceptance sampling plans, testing and quality measures, ensuring the compliance with the project’s Specifications.

Must be fully computer literate and able to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, etc. 

Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills.

Forensic Planner

The Forensic Planner shall be responsible for Forensic review of contractor claims for extension of time, acceleration and disruption cost claims. 

Shall perform delay analysis and determine the time impact for each delay event and coordinate with the team to prepare recommendation for EOT claims submitted by contractor. 

Shall prepare the delay analysis critical path impact schedule in Primavera P6 format. 

Shall maintain a database and correspondence register required to review Claims. 

Shall co-ordinate and consult with the rest of the Claims Team to review Claims. With a practical approach to planning & forensic delay analysis he shall endeavor to minimize programme over runs where possible and clearly demonstrate the consequences of delay events. 

Shall possess a good understanding of all stages of a claim from initial forensic and historical analysis, to actual claim stage, and the post claim stage. 

Shall analyze programmes and identify irregularities and discrepancies relating to time, cost and resource from complex Contractor multi-scheduled programmes. 

Shall prepare independent schedule impact analysis of complex claims and assist in drafting of counter claims against the Contractors extensions of time claims.
Degree in Civil Engineering with Certification in Planning and Scheduling of projects with minimum 15 years experience, 10 years of which should be a Forensic Planner with engineering consultancy or project management consultancy.

Must have a strong leadership quality to lead and motivate the team.

The main responsibilities are ETL design and development for the Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Solutions.

• Handle areas related to Metadata/Repository creation and management, Internal database administrator (DBA), Technical/Data architecture, Oracle Business Intelligence, BI client/servers related configuration.
• Reports to DWH/BI Technical Lead, interacts with Modeler, QA, IT, Data Analysis, BI Developer, and DWH/BI technical lead and all members of DWH/BI technical and functional teams.

• 4+ years of solid relevant experience in the field of data warehouse metadata implementation and management.

Duties and Responsibilities: 
• Assist Resident Engineer/ARE.
• Follow up construction activities at site.
• Ensure the Contractor’s adherence to Construction documents and latest Authorities’ regulations.
• Assist in reviewing Contractor’s Submissions (shop drawings, Materials, RFI, etc.).
• Provide all necessary on-site direction.
• Support in supervising site inspection staff as per Resident Engineer/ARE’s directions.
• Check measure of work done.
• Observe site safety practices.
• Report back as necessary to the Resident Engineer/ARE.
• Monitor contractor’s resource allocation.
• Assist in reviewing the project’s close out documents.
• Act positively, and participate in all health and safety issues at site, as required by the Resident Engineer/ARE, and project Safety Representative.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of work experience with roads and highway projects.
