Planning Manager from a consultancy background to join their team in Qatar on a
major infrastructure construction project.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Leading and managing a team of planners
• Developing and maintaining project planning and reporting standards and procedures
• Preparing and maintaining the project work break down structure an integrating the project master schedule
• Co-ordinating with the Consultants and Contractors
• Analysing and reporting on Consultants’ and Contractors’ schedules and progress reports
• Performing critical path analysis of schedules
• Preparing monthly and weekly reports
• Preparing and making presentations
RESPONSIBILITIES

construction industry, preferably in the Middle East, with at least 3 years in
a management role
• Degree qualification from a recognised University in a technical subject
• Background of working on infrastructure construction projects, such as railways, airports, highways, etc.
• Experience of using P6, Pertmaster, and MS Office
• Strong technical knowledge of CPM networks, resource and cost loading, and risk management techniques
• Strong communication skills

• Attending to and arranging all related maintenance activities
• Ensuring all servicing and maintenance works are carried out on schedule and to the allocated budget

oversee all projects for the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Managing the overall operations and performance of the company
• Approving all site activities and project schedules
• Certifying and checking all outgoing purchase orders and quotations
• Certifying approved vendor list
• Coordinating weekly meetings with project managers and site engineers to go over site progress
• Coordinating weekly non-technical meetings to go over Admin, HR, Finance and PR related issues
• Ensuring the company meets yearly revenue and cost targets
• Actively developing business through meeting with companies to find new work
• Implementing value engineering on projects
• Meeting with directors on a weekly basis to follow up on project progress and requesting any support required
• Raising employee requests to directors and holding interviews with prospective candidates
• Determining training needs for all staff and promoting continuous development throughout the workplace
