Construction Manager

Nationality: Due to visa allocation, our client is seeking an Indian National.

Our client is a leading EPC organisation with projects in multiple locations in the Middle East. Our client is focused on delivering onshore and offshore projects for their clients and they are currently seeking a Senior Construction Manager to work site based in Oman.

You will be responsible for:
* Managing the day-to-day construction management of the Oman project
* You will prepare, supervise and approve the development of the project from a construction pov
* You will ensure the most 'efficient' construction methodologies are implemented into the design in ensure safety & quality is never compromised
* Manage the direct staff and the sub-contractors and be the construction representative of our Client
* Plan, develop and organise the construction to ensure the most effective plan is put in place against time, cost and budget
* Responsible for implementation of the scope of work as related to construction/ fabrication, pre-commissioning, pre-commissioning and commissioning of the facilities in conformance with project specifications, Scope of Work, and in accordance with the approved Project Schedule
* Monitor and report to the Snr Project Manager of project details, including progress, risks and opportunities in a timely manner
* Ensures all changes to specifications, work scope and drawings are documented
* Is accountable for all off-site & on-site Construction related / planned activities
* Define clear roles & responsibilities and deliverable requirements in terms of both scope and schedule to all the team members
* Review man-hours and duration forecasts to completion for construction and man-hours, duration and manning forecasts
* Monitor construction productivity and schedule performance
* Provide recommendations and institute measures for improvement by modification to operating procedures/work instructions
* Adhere to Company & Client Safety Standards and promote safety culture among the ranks throughout the Company
* Work in unison with the Project Controls Manager, HSE Manager, Quality Manager and Engineering Manager to ensure that all Project requirements are met
* Any other ad-hoc projects and duties as required by the management

Salary/Package
Our client offers a competitive tax free salary of 1500 - 1800 OMR (approx. $4,000 - $5,000 per month) + accommodation + transportation

* Degree/Diploma qualified in engineering (Mechanical, Civil or Structural)
* 15 years' experience in Oil & Gas industry including offshore construction experience
* Minimum 10 years' experience in LSTK EPC projects working for a contractor (projects ranging from $50m - $150m)
* Middle East experience is essential with PDO or Oman Gas Company project experience desirable and preferred
* Experience in Natural Gas process plant & transportation (pipelines) infrastructure is essential
* Health and safety focused
* You must be an excellent communicator who is able to lead and work within a multinational, multicultural workforce

Custom Assembly Designer

They are currently recruiting for a Custom Assembly Designer to be responsible for reviewing, creating and successfully design of custom components, custom cable assemblies and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies. They will work closely with the applications engineering team, project management and customers to develop products and assemblies that will ultimately be used in customer systems. The daily activities will range from customer design review calls to creating the engineering drawings and process instructions to be used in those developments.

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience

• Ability to use various power tools, as well as measurement instruments such as digital multi-meters, electronic loads, hi-pot testers, micrometers, calipers, gauges and tachometers.

• Working knowledge of engineering documentation and process instructions with the ability to edit and update those documents

We are currently working with a large and leading organisation are seeking a Project Controls Cost Lead to be based in Surrey working on a 1-year contract.

As Project Controls Cost Lead, you will be joining a team that supports the Project Management team within the global engineering organisation in Surrey, UK. You will provide experience in project set-up, work breakdown structure cost planning and forecasting, cost and scope change management, budget administration, capitalization, project closing and currency management. As Project Controls Lead you will also provide expertise in the use of SAP Project Systems and Ecosys PMIS to support project management. The position interfaces with project engineers, project accountants, finance decision support, tax group and treasury. Knowledge and experience in project execution is required.
Essential Qualifications, Experience and Skills

* Engineering or relevant degree preferred
* 5-10 years cost related experience within a large project oriented EPC or Owner organization. Experience with Energy and Chemical processing related business and projects is desirable.
* 5 - 10 years' experience and skills to support all phases of project execution, especially around Project cost forecasting process. Ability to analyse and project Work Breakdown Structures for internal engineering labour, equipment procurement, construction and start up/commissioning project phases. 
* Understanding of a variety of project types, structures and contract terms. This includes Third Party Sale of Equipment, Joint Ventures, Capital, and Cost Sharing type arrangements.
* Experience and Skills to apply understanding of projects on global basis. Requirements such as performing foreign currency analysis within projects, assessing currency risk exposures, advising Treasury of FX requirements and changes, supporting projects executed by multiple engineering offices, and understanding intercompany project ramifications.
* Previous SAP and Ecosys PMIS experience strongly preferred, especially around SAP Project Systems module.

Our client is seeking a Document Writer to be based in Surrey in supporting the commissioning team that is responsible for writing, completing and validating the commissioning, operational and performance testing procedures. 

Role & Responsibilities:
* Generation of commissioning test plans, procedures and associated documentation
* Responsible for the completion of the procedures for the development of the commissioning activities to the end plant performance testing and validation
* Interface coordination with all involved disciplines (Engineering, Projects & Commissioning)
* Identify opportunities, risks and deviations
* Direct reporting to Commissioning Management
* Creation of a standard format for all test protocols ensuring all relevant data is attached.
* Able to quickly assimilate changes into the testing protocol and link into the Air Products commissioning check lists.
* Commitment to identify, analyze and propose solutions to problems in a constructive and positive manner, suggesting corrective measures
* Engineering degree or relevant industry experience essential

You will be responsible for:
* You will be responsible for leading, planning and managing the refinery reliability engineering program
* You will provide expertise in the development and administration of all aspects of the refinery reliability program including reliability risk based engineering metrics and implementation. (E.g. reliability centred maintenance (RCM), predictive preventive maintenance (PPM), failure mode effects analysis (FMEA), root cause analysis (RCA), reliability availability maintainability analysis (RAM), etc.)

* Provide technology guidance and oversight to refinery reliability teams and interface with operations, maintenance, and technology teams.
* Develop and implement risked based Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and feedback for refinery production efficiencies.
* Oversee guidance and mentoring for the development of reliability engineering personnel.
* Oversee and approve reliability department budgets.
* Manage reliability personnel and ensure verification of integrity of the work.
* Provides leadership and education to ensure compliance with safety and reliability programs.
