As a Reservation & Ticketing Agent, you will provide a full service-oriented professional reservations and ticketing service to all customers and travel businesses either through telephone calls or in-person meetings in order to achieve optimal customer satisfaction and achieve annual budget revenue targets.
Specific accountabilities include:
• Show dedication and commitment to handle the maximum number of telephone call and passengers whilst at all times carefully following all QR procedures and regulations to achieve the highest possible quality of reservations and ticketing service
• Answer an average of 10 to 15 telephone calls per hour professionally on a daily basis, and provide a full sales and reservations service to all customers and minimize the rate of abandoned calls.
• Serve all passengers professionally and quickly at the reservations counter to minimize customers waiting time on a daily basis. Maximize use of QR network. Refer more complex cases to reservations supervisor.
• Issue tickets and quote correct fares and tariffs, to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize customer complaints on a daily basis.
• Perform a detailed daily flight firming check to maximize flight utilization and reduce ‘no-shows’ on a daily basis.

You will need a Diploma or Associate Degree
combined with a minimum of two years of job-related experience. You will need a
detailed knowledge of a Computerised Reservation System, such as Amadeus. A
sound understanding of world geography is required along with fluency in
English and Arabic (written and oral).

As the Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for the overall sales strategies and results of the Airline within your area of responsibility. You will be required to generate passenger revenues in an assigned area and surpass the allocated targets, protect existing business and constantly exploit new opportunities. You will also create maximum awareness of QR products and services.

• Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails, visiting potential customers to prospect for new business
• Representing the organisation at trade exhibitions and events
• Servicing the needs of key customers, travel agents and corporate accounts. Submitting monthly sales call plans and weekly sales reports and updating the trade and corporate houses about QRs products and services
• Planning and directing all sales activities including planning and implementing forecasts as well as developing policies and procedures

with decision makers is key to your success in this role.

In this role as SE – Software Engineer , you will be responsible for system development and maintenance support through preparation of technical Solution design and Efforts documents post your review of Business requirement Specs , evaluation of any Defect or Query logged and then document solution and perform fix as required.
You are expected to be have strong background in preparation and documentation related to any new System Requirement for Development or fix, and would need to liaison with QR Business team on time to time basis. Strong understanding of Airline Revenue Accounting and MIS processes including it impacts on any other related processes. You are expected to translate conceptual business operational requirements to technical Bill of Quantity through selection of right product and implementation of best practices.
You will be responsible for assisting in process standardization and implementation of cost effective designs. Responsibilities will also include analyzing and procurement of IT infrastructure, perform Proof of Concept (POC) and report preparation and analysis etc. Strong technical knowledge in Oracle SQL , PostgreSQL , Advanced PL/SQL coding , Unix commands , handling large volume Database and develop Data extraction , batch processing programs and database jobs, Flat file / Excel file Report generation , Shell scripts for scheduling and Server side Coding.
