Marketing and Business Development Manager

The Role 
Our client, a multinational consultancy business, is seeking a Marketing and Business Development Manager to be based in Muscat, Oman. Reports to the Head of Sales and Marketing. You will possess 5-8 years marketing and business development experience with a consultancy or professional services firm. Preference is for Big 4.  The Role: * The Marketing and Business Development Manager will act as the primary point of contact for all Markets activities in Oman. * Assist Partners, Directors and Managers in meeting their business growth objectives and targets. * Work closely with the central Markets team in Dubai to ensure that the services of the Markets department are fully leveraged for the office in Oman. * Help build the profile and reputation of the consultancy firm.  Responsibilities:  * Managing the bid process for all major proposals and helping the team achieve a winning document * Monitoring RFP (Request for Proposals) and other tender information portals * Monitor ongoing progress against targets for selected key accounts/solutions * Ensure all necessary account information and pipelines opportunities are reported in CRM * Ensure a regular pipeline of TL is in place, leveraging the best of local and global publications, for dissemination to clients and contacts * Work closely with the PR Manager to ensure optimum coverage for the local market, leveraging all relevant firm surveys, events, thought leadership etc * Liaise with Partners and the PR Manager to agree content for press releases * Managing internal communication activities * Manage inputs into relevant internal communications such as, surveys, key updates etc. * Help arrange a number of client briefings and seminars on specific business topics * Manage invitation lists, acceptances and client communications * Manage venue, catering and logistical requirements 
Requirements 
* Degree educated * The Marketing and Business Development Manager will have 5-8 years professional marketing and business development experience, ideally in a Big 4 background. * Excellent writing and communications skills

Client are a well-known major shop-fitting manufacturer currently engaged on a number of major retail projects across the Middle East.  As part of their continued expansion, they are urgently looking for an experienced Setting Out manager with extensive shop-fitting and manufacturing experience to be based in Bahrain.  The successful candidates MUST have previous experience within Retail projects and extensive joinery manufacturing knowledge.  In return you will receive an attractive salary and benefits package with one of the region’s leading manufacturing firms. 
Requirements
