Senior CAD Technician (Roads & Utilities)

The Role

Requirements •Candidates should have a clear and demonstrable record of developing technical drawings using CAD and an understanding of roads, drainage infrastructure and related issues, including; •Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised Institution. (Individuals that hold a Diploma provided this is a three year Diploma qualification) •10 years Auto CadMicro station and detailing experience involving work associated with roads and infrastructure projects based in Middle East? •Extensive experience of detailing all utilities design including roads, infrastructure (potable water, treated sewer effluent, foul water and storm water drainage network, pumping stations, reservoirs, street lighting, power distribution and other related facilities) drawings using CAD  •Knowledge of geographical information systems e.g. Mapinfo  •Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel  •Excellent communication skills and be fluent in English (written and spoken). Arabic is a plus but not essential.  •Abilities in Automation using Autolisp etc.,  Responsibilities You will be required to:  •To work as part of Atkins’ Transport and Infrastructure team  •To assist in delivering a range of tasks relating to infrastructure design and planning •Develop project deliverables, particularly drawings and reports as required. •To review utilities interfaces against other infrastructure development. •To provide office and site-based technical support as necessary •Coordinate with other disciplines as required.  •Perform such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.  The Individual •Ability to lead and Manage CAD Technicians team Riyadh KSA •Ability to adapt to different cultures and working environments. The Role 
Currently looking for two runway sweepers to maintain 24/7 operations for the Bahrain Airport Project. This is a long term career opportunity. Our client offer an exciting work environment, competitive compensation and excellent benefits.  Job responsibilities:  • Checks conditions of taxiways and runways and reports discrepancies. • Checks all fluid levels and refills as required before operating. • Checks all tires for wear and air before operating. • Greases and lubricates moving parts as required. • Coordinates with airfield control tower for clearance and directions to where to sweep. • Checks runways and taxiways prior to airfield opening and reports any discrepancies to air traffic control tower. • Coordinates with operations to sweep aircraft mats and pad eyes. • Cleans sweeper as needed. • Performs minor adjustments in accordance with Daily Operators Checklist. • Performs other duties as assigned. • Accountable for: Tools and equipment within his possession. • Adherence to all Safety rules and regulations.  
Requirements 
• Good English communication in order to communicate with the Air Traffic Control Tower  • Heavy vehicle driver licenses with 5 years driving experience. • Need to work shift.  • Must be physically fit give the nature of the job and in addition to sweeping, required to drive water tanker, Hiab and Forklift. • High School Diploma/ Degree.
