The Role
The cost accountant / controller is expected to be working closely with the operations director, and handling the following principal accountabilities: - The ongoing analysis of processes constraints and bottlenecks for continuous improvement, - Tracing costs back to underlying activities and outline margin / profitability analysis, - applying / monitoring standard costing to enhance visibility of cost behavior and variability, - Partaking in the construction of cost-effective data accumulation systems needed for robust financial and costing information, - revising the entire pricing structure in light of respective cost profiles Key Responsibilities The position of cost accountant / controller will entail numerous accounting and reporting responsibilities as well, including (but not limited to) the following: - Oversee the accounting function and supervise the chief accountant - Prepare annual budgets for revenue, cash forecasts, and expenses and capex - Update standard costs and review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies - Validate the cost of sales as part of the month-end close - Accumulate and apply overhead costs as required by generally accepted accounting principles - Report on breakeven points by products, work centers, and facilities - Report on margins and profitabilities by product, client, and division - Report on periodic variances and their causes, focusing in particular on sales & profits variances - Analyze capital budgeting requests for new projects / investments for the BoD
Requirements
Desired Qualifications: 8+ years of accounting/finance experience, of which 4+ years experience in cost accounting / controlling. Also, a BA/BS degree, as well as excellent analysis skills, and the ability to collaborate with a multi-department team. Other requirements: - Highly motivated and committed, with good communication skills - Advanced computer skills on ERP, MS Office, accounting software and databases - Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, laws and regulations - High attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to direct and supervise - CPA or CMA is a considerable advantage MAX: 25k

Requirements • Minimum of a master’s degree in a related field • A senior level software developer with strong and successful technical lead experience • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, as well as speaking and presentation skills • Experience of leading a team of developers • A high level of open source experience, specifically in PHP & Python development, but also a full and broad knowledge of all Open Source platforms & applications • Advanced level (knowledge and experience) of programming languages and methodologies • Advanced level of understanding of HTML5 and CSS3 as well as previous iterations of these languages • Experience of managing, directing and motivating staff to deliver projects with stretching scope and objectives • Proactive and highly organised, with strong time management and planning skills • Able to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure • Experience at advising key stakeholders at senior and board level Key behaviour: • Strong Leadership, professional attitude – and leading by example • Passionate about Software Development, with a general thirst for digital knowledge and a significant interest in new emerging technologies
