Client is a leading construction company in Qatar who are charged with the delivery of a multimillion dollar road project in Doha. They are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis.
You will work within a Project organisation structure working closely with a Team providing a range of Quantity Surveying duties from project inception through to completion. You must have a sound working knowledge of cost management, measurement, change management, evaluation and preparation of payment applications and value management.

* Degree Qualification in Quantity Surveying is a must.

The works will consist of bridges, roads, utilities and storm drainage.
Responsibilities of the Construction Manager:
- Provide on-site construction management activities
- Monitors performance of the construction team
- Supports the Project Manager to monitor on-schedule completion, monitor risks/problems, manage and direct overall planning of construction activities to identify critical milestones and priorities.
- Monitor the services of subcontractors
- Manages the assignment of manpower, materials, and equipment

We are currently assisting a fast growing construction contractor with their search for a Commercial Manager to join them in their Kuwaiti office.
The business is a contractor involved in infrastructure as well as complex building projects within Kuwait and you will likely have an exposure at project levels. Recently they have experienced exceptional growth and are looking to strengthen the Corporate Commercial structure.
You will also assist with the restructuring the existing contract and commercial team and act as the senior contract responsible for all related activities throughout the construction business from a head office located in Kuwait City.
The client is ideally looking to recruit a candidate who has experience in leading a contracts team on major infrastructure projects and who is an expert in FIDIC.
On offer is a salary of up to US$15k NET per month, as well as a company car flight allowance and insurances. The role is offered as a family status move however accommodation and schooling is the candidate's responsibility.
