Position Summary
Job Scope: To ensure a steady booking of orders to meet the revenue goals of the company.
Would be responsible for the achievement of business targets. This would require strategizing the roadmap for the operating and strategic business plans for the Solar Division. A high degree of involvement in understanding the current market potential and the growth anticipated for the industry for next few years with a vision of taking the organization from the present level to the next level would be required.
Would be responsible for business development through existing and new customers, marketing of the projects in the industry and the achievement of targets through sales.
Direct responsibility for Achievement of business target set for the current financial year receivables from the customers.
Key responsibility 1. Business growth in new and existing markets
This would require keeping a close tab on the growth potential of the industry so as to either expand in the current markets or diversify to other markets
Developing Strategy/Marketing plan to meet business objective
Achievement of business targets set for the current financial year
Achievement of business target as per strategic planning
2. Integrating the sales and marketing function by putting into place strong processes and monitoring policies
This would require planning for reaching out to the customers for an effective concept and brand development and intelligence gathering on customers and competitors.
Developing communication plan for existing and new customers which would involve all aspects of building the brand image in the minds of the customers
Managing Customer Satisfaction by having processes and programs in place to improve the same
Creating processes to counter competitive initiatives and work on strategy to win business

Qualifications: BE (Mechanical / Civil / Electrical) (preferred) + MBA (Marketing)
Experience Required
4 - 5 Years

Should be extremely result oriented , have good business acument and crisis management skills, should have good negotiation and communiation skills.
Should have a clear understanding of customer/markes and is aware of the growth areas should have ability to think out of the box to identify and penetrate non traditional markets
Should be able to handle big large deals by being an adept negotiator while dealing with very senior executives
Should be able to suceed goal successfully, should be very bottom line oriented, should steadfastly push self and others for results
Should be extremely customer focused, should be dedicating to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external cutomers, should get first hand customer information and use it for improvement in the product and services, establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and ganin their trust and respect
