We are now seeking an exceptional CAD Technician to join our award winning team based within our Dubai Office.
This critical role will be responsible for developing and preparing drawings in CAD format for raods, utilities and services for master plannin and design stages.
Requirements
Paramount to success within this varied role will include ;
• Design and drafting ability for roads, utilities and services.
• Proficient in 3D design in Civil 3D and other related software packages.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of drawings.
• Coordinate with the engineering design team and administration staff.
• Learn and apply company CAD Standards.

We are now seeking an exceptional Deputy Head of Mechanical to join our award winning team based within our Doha, Qatar Office. This critical role will be responsible for representing the Head of Department in his absence, carry out the day to day running of their respective teams, be responsible for the provision of key technical expertise and input at different stages of the life of the project and to ensure the highest technical quality of delivery of the project.

Paramount to success within this varied role will include:
• Represent the firm as a senior functional manager for operation of the department to positively project the Company’s image and reputation.
• Contribute to the effective and profitable development, performance and growth of the Company by the application of good business and management practices in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures.
• Provide leadership to all staff in the Department to direct their successful contribution to the company’s business and to develop their careers and skills.
• Develop and maintain positive professional relations whenever dealing with current and prospective Clients.
• Ensure execution of projects with the best outcome in terms of Client satisfaction and Company returns through appropriate selection, assignment, utilization and management of staff.
• Plan, lead, organize and control operations of the Department to ensure project execution in accordance with agreed project plans established by designated Project Manager for the project.
• Provide technical oversight to the Staff engaged in design and documentation of projects, in support of designated Project Manager for project.
• Ensure implementation of project specific quality assurance and control procedures to ensure all product from the Department meets high international standards.
• Coordinate with other Departments and Divisions for project support.
• Provide leadership in the exchange of knowledge relating to best, current international practice and in identification and analysis of new technology and trends.
• Provide reports as required by the Director of MEP Engineering to outline status and plans for action regarding resources utilization, recruitment, staff and organizational issues, Client issues, and other matters relating to operations and growth of the department.
Requirements
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 15 years career experience with minimum 2 years experience specifically in a similar role, a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering with full (Corporate) Membership of an internationally recognized professional institution.

This critical role will be responsible for representing KEO in communications with the client, design consultants and contractors and technically assessing submittals in accordance with relevant discipline-focused strategy and procedures.

Paramount to success within this varied role will include ;
• Providing leadership and subject matter expertise to the project to achieve time, cost, quality and safety objectives.
• Monitor and report on the production of information with respect to the discipline-related services submittal progress.
• Review submitted shop drawings and material submittals (and the like) against the drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice.
• Check and ensure co-ordination between discipline-related services works and all other disciplines.
• Provide technical input and experience to resolve discipline-related engineering issues on the project.
• Monitor the Engineers and Inspectors performance to ensure that they are fulfilling their roles and responsibilities.
• Maintain open communication with the client and contractor's discipline engineers on project related issues.
• Coordinate the works to ensure successful project hand-over.
• Maintain a daily project related diary.
• Prepare project reports (written and photographic) on progress of works, quality and technical conformance of the works, safety and other matters.
• Attend technical and progress meetings with the contractor/client's representative.
Requirements
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 15 years experience in the design and supervision of building works as well as infrastructure medium and low voltage networks. Experience is also required of industry codes and standards such as (BS, NFPA/NEC, IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, API and ASI).

It will be essential to have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, whilst professional engineering membership is preferred.

This critical role will be responsible for providing H&S advice and information to KEO staff & Contractors to raise the standards & ensure compliance on site.

Paramount to success within this varied role will include;
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of H&S best practices and standards.
- Maintain comprehensive filing/record keeping in relation to assigned activities.
- Assist with the review of contractor's H&S documentation.
- Prepare analysis data for graphs & charts.
- Knowledge of risk assessment processes, legal requirements & industry best practices & standards.
- Knowledge of construction techniques & methodology.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally & written to differing levels of management & diverse ethnicity.
- Construction projects from shell & core construction with in-situ concrete, steel frame or prefabricated structures to fit-out projects in commercial & residential sectors. Experience in civil/infrastructure projects also an advantage.
Requirements
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 10 years career experience with a BSc Health, Safety & Environmental.

Chartered status with Nebosh Certificate (or equivalent) is essential.
