The Role
QR Key
Account Manager - Qatar Aircraft Catering Company - Doha
Responsible to source, solicit, negotiate and handle all accounts within her his assigned portfolio. Keeping in mind the organizational directives and policies and achieve high customer satisfaction, increase profitability and excellent employee morale.
The QR Key Account Manager will be the face & one and only contact of Qatar Aircraft Catering Company ( QACC ) to deal on every aspect of business relating to Qatar Airways catering Operations, correspondence, addressing new requirements, product enhancement communication, customer complaints or any additional requirement.
Accountabilities:
Operational
• Ensure comprehensive and complete coverage of own portfolio covering all level of accounts' managerial and department executives for a comprehensive clients servicing, achieving targets and maximum productivity in his her portfolio
• Generate and maintain customers of defined accounts/ areas through sales activities
• Provide feedback to the Senior Manager Sales & Marketing on changing marking condition, including trends in the competition in order to understand better trends and change possible selling strategies
• Ensure that selling strategies are adhered to during negotiations
• To work closely with the positions direct reports to achieve the goals and vision of the organisation
• The QR Key Account Manager will be the first point of interaction from customer for any query related to:
• Product change / revision
• Quality Issue
• Pricing or packaging
• Change in brand of raw materials
• Menu grid / specification related issues
• Passenger complaint analysis
• Menu presentation
• meal evaluation / Tasting
• Any other issue not listed above
Management & leadership
• Establish the department or team objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives
• proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis
• Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel
Development
• Takes responsibility of achieving desired target
• Ensures accurate planning and foresight in developing and maintaining key accounts
• Develop a strong sales team through training and delegation of responsibilities
Operational Safety
• Responsible to ensure that employees at all levels understand work health and safety requirements and expectations through provision of relevant QR Group induction, information, instruction, training and supervision
• Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, security, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls across the operation to assure employee safety, security, legislative compliance and delivery of high quality service with a responsible environmental attitude.

• Essential
Bachelors Degree or equivalent
• Degree/ Diploma in Hotel / Catering Management with additional qualification in Business Management
• Diploma in Sales & Marketing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills
• Well developed lateral and analytical thinking skills
• Strong airlines service experience
• Expert- minimum 7 years of job-related experience required
• 5 years experience with a multicultural company or international Flight Catering Company
• Knowledge of HACCAP & Flight Operations
• Essential excellent project management skills; able to deliver tasks within tight deadlines
• Strong consultancy skills; able to identify underlying issues to business/ people problems
• Creative and innovative; able to design new and effective solutions
• Resilient and tenacious; able to pursue goals despite obstacles
• Excellent communication skills with ability to convert into sales
• Skilled in product research and development

You will be responsible for a range of accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, budgeting and forecasting, tax and payroll. You will ensure the correct and timely processing of documents in line with QR policies and procedures.
Specific accountabilities include:
• Working with business partners to prepare and pass accruals to ensure accurate financial accounting
• Ensuring supplier invoices are processed and accounted accurately through AP module
• Assisting with the preparation of budget files for management review and preparing budget submission files
• Ensuring daily sales/refunds are reported by ticketing offices, airport offices and collections are made 100% without shortage
• Correctly maintaining VAT records and all supporting documentation and details of any items disallowed are appropriately filed
• Ensuring payroll files are completed and submitted in line with third party payroll company deadlines and that payroll details are reviewed thoroughly and corrected before approval for disbursement

Requirements
To be
successful in this role, you will need a Commerce degree, or similar, combined
with a minimum of three years job-related experience. You will have a minimum
of two years of experience within the aviation/airlines sector with strong
expenditure or revenue accounting exposure. User level experience in an ERP,
such as Oracle, is required. A professional accounting qualification such as
CA, CPA, ACCA or similar would be well regarded.
