Manager – Kuala Lumpur – Marine/Ports
Our client is a top tier international Consultancy urgently seeking a Contracts Manager to join the team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This will involve working on Marine/Port related projects and to provide Contract Strategy Advice.
Responsibilities
• Ability to support key parties of the project by being pro-active and provide guidance to ensure best resolution of any contractual disputes, performance issues etc.
• Provide on-site contracting management and administration
• Minimise exposure and liability to claims against the client duties to support KPI’s of the team and client
• Demonstrate the highest level of business ethics to comply with the Group Statement of General Business Principles
• Interact effectively with Client, team and other personnel on the project to implement a fully integrated contract strategy

• Must have MRICS/MCIOB/other further educational qualification
• Minimum of 10 years contractual experience
• Ability to multi task so can lead and interface whist directing the work of others
• Provide commercial / contractual opinion and reports on complex, highly technical issues
• Expert knowledge of contract terms and conditions
• Experience of working in multi – cultural environments
• Previous projects to include marine/ports infrastructure

The Role
Our client
is an international consultancy seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to work
large scale infrastructure projects. The role will be based in Doha, Qatar and
will be responsible for the execution of projects within time and budgetary
parameters.
Responsibilities:
• Provide planning services, monitor and control the execution of the project. Ensuring this is within the set time frame and budget parameters
• Maintain, update and develop the master schedule of projects
• Monitor cost and schedule performance, report on any impact of changes on the time line of the project and on the original budget, note the possibility of delays and potential budget overruns
• Interfacing on a daily basis with the main contractor sub-contractors and internal management.
• Ensure site project controls policies and procedures, consistent with department policies are in implemented and monitored throughout the duration of the project.
• Work collaboratively with other departments and Area Delivery Managers

Civil Engineering is essential
• Chartered status is preferred
• Minimum of 14 years post qualified experience, including experience in the Middle East region
