The Role
My client,
an Engineering Consultancy is hiring for a Senior Planning Engineer based in
Qatar for a buildings project.
- To perform all the planning/scheduling activities that are required to be conducted for the project, as guided by Project Director.
- Prepare project master programme and review/comment/approve the baseline schedule – prepared and submitted by the contractor, taking into consideration the identification of craft labor /equipment /material /cash requirements by time period.
- Provides assistance to the Project Director for reports on contractor delay in project deliverables and corrective action suggestions.

Requirements
Senior
Planning Engineer shall possess a Bachelor Degree in an Engineering Discipline
with a minimum of Fifteen (15) years progressive experience in all phases of
major engineering and construction Projects with, at least, Eight (8) years’
experience in planning and scheduling of projects.
The candidate shall have excellent communication and writing skills in English, excellent analytical and creative problem solving skills, and handling complaints.
