The Role
Client is a
leading international contractor who specialise in the construction of oil and
gas and marine projects.
They are currently looking to recruit a logistics manager for the following:
- Develops logistical plans for existing operations.
- Logistic Market analysis and Forwarders Evaluation.
- Develops logistics contingency plans.
- Develops plans for downsizing or liquidation.
- Develops and implements methodologies and tools to enable effective execution of logistic plans.
- Formulates Standard Operating Procedures.
- Manages logistics operations.
- Ensures timely, accountable and cost-effective delivery of peacekeeping cargos.
- Ensures that supervised staff members are adequately trained and cross-trained.
- Coordinates and provides logistics support to ongoing air, land, river or rail operations.
- Coordinates logistics activities with procurement, finance, and other substantive units.
- Prepares reports on Equipment and material movements and other operational logistics issues.
- Liaison with freight forwarding companies / transporters.
- Coordination with Ports and Customs authorities.
- Import, export and shipping documentation processing
- Performs any other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s
Degree in Commerce.
- Certificates in Logistics or Supply Chain.
- Proven working experience as a logistics manager.
- 10 – 15 years of experience in similar role.

Requirements
Candidates
must have a degree in an engineering or construction related field and must
have at least 15 years experience in the construction industry. Experience as a
QA QC manager on major building projects is a must and experience in the Middle
East is preferable. Candidates should be a qualified lead auditor and should
have excellent English communication skills.

The Role
Client is a
leading international contractor who are currently working on a clean fuels
project in Kuwait. They are currently looking to recruit a senior quantity
surveyor. This role provides Quantity Surveyor support management to the Kuwait
Clean Fuels Project.
The role requires candidate to provide advice in the decision?making process throughout the management of a project from initial inception to final completion. In addition, candidate should be able to carry out estimating and measurement of construction works along with the resultant contract through monthly valuations, variations control, contract administration and assessment of claims.
The incumbent will be required to draft and review of contractual correspondence, compilation of contractual claims and supporting information working closely with project cost controllers and planners to ensure budgets were maintained and schedule impacts were captured. Estimation and preparation of tender documentation for new portions of work.
