developer with a solid hold within the market is seeking a Senior Real Estate
Development Manager. This role which will include - deal feasibility, market
research, zoning and support in writing purchase contracts, and recommending
financing options, whilst leading all financial matters pertaining to the
company.
Requirements:
• Hold a Bachelor’s or Masters’ Degree in Finance, Real Estate or related field with MBA preferred,
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with reputed real estate companies
• Knowledge of project management, property management/leasing/and operations.
• Must be proficient with modeling investments.
Responsibilities:
• Proactively manage and deliver economic & market research on real estate market and support Division’s land acquisitions whilst identifying and mitigating the risks of specific land positions.
• Manage and perform complex, high level development feasibility, defining assumptions and providing proactive strategic and investment decision support for the company.
• Prepare development feasibility in accordance with approved standard feasibility and reporting, working in conjunction with all relevant stakeholders and also obtain necessary approvals for the projects/ developments.
• Manage/ monitor all aspects of the company Finance, including 5-year business plans, budgeting/ forecasting / cash flows and review all finance reports including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements
• Liaise with key stakeholders and contribute to key business decisions within the company through financial advice and expertise.
• Prepare and maintain project performance metrics that include pre-development budget, development budget, and project timeline.
• Regularly evaluate pipeline projects, project financing of new developments, expansions/ refurbishments and other investment opportunities, update the stakeholders and contribute to the development of financial forecasts and related budgets for pipeline projects
• Assist with the oversight and management of external/ internal partners, e.g. architect, market data consultants, consultants, Projects etc.
• Regularly prepare analytics on the performance of land/ asset and continue to enhance, improve and make recommendations on the standard feasibility.
• Prepare monthly development reports for new projects, review and audit active project feasibility and ensure adherence with approved standards/ budgets.
• During conceptual design phase, evaluate the property and its development potential, and identify areas of risk.Engage was formed in 2007 in response to frustrations at the level of service delivery offered by traditional large recruitment agencies working in the construction market.
