Assistant Pharmacist

A new opportunity has come up for a newly opened pharmacy in Al Ain. The role is an Assistant Pharmacist with the primary responsibility of assisting the license Pharmacist in selling and giving pharmacological information to individuals buying medication at the shop.



Other responsibilities will include but not limited to:
•Dispensing of pharmaceutical items in the Pharmacy, with proper patient information on proper usage and dosage
•Dispense medicines as per doctors’ prescription.
•Assist in maintaining pharmacy stocks and monitoring movement/ inventory of pharmaceutical items
•Assist Pharmacists with pharmacy duties
To be considered, you should meet the following criteria:


•Qualified as Assistant Pharmacist with a minimum of 2 year diploma
•HAAD licensure is a must
•At least 3 years experience as an Assistant Pharmacist.
•Good computer skills.
•Good command of written and spoken English; knowledge of spoken and written Arabic is an advantage.
•Ability to function effectively under pressure
•A willingness to work shifts/weekends/Public holidays and must be physically fit to stand for long periods of time

A new opportunity has come up for a newly opened pharmacy in Al Ain. The role is a Pharmacist with the primary responsibility of managing the pharmacy and selling and giving pharmacological information to individuals buying medication at the shop.



Other responsibilities will include but not limited to:


•Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders; detecting therapeutic incompatibilities.
•Dispenses medications by compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals.
•Controls medications by monitoring drug therapies; advising interventions.
•Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' work flow; verifying their preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals; verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.
•Provides pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals; counseling patients on drug therapies.
•Develops hospital staff's pharmacological knowledge by participating in clinical programs; training pharmacy staff, students, interns, externs, residents, and health care professionals.
•Complies with state and federal drug laws as regulated by the state board of pharmacy, the drug enforcement administration, and the food and drug administration by monitoring nursing unit inspections; maintaining records for controlled substances; removing outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory; supervising the work results of support personnel; maintaining current registration; studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; advising management on needed actions.
•Protects patients and technicians by adhering to infection-control protocols.
•Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
•Maintains pharmacological knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
•Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Pharmacist Skills and Qualifications:

Analyzing Information , Administering Medication, Judgment, Verbal Communication, HAAD Health Regulations, Pharmacology, Managing Processes, Legal Compliance, Productivity, Quality Focus, Attention to Detail

Our client a large facilities management company is urgently looking for an Operation Manager. For this role, you will be responsible for handling the operation department from all perspectives, such as:

•Managing a team of Project Managers, Supervisors, Team Leaders and Technicians.
•Ensuring all deliverables and clients’ contractual obligations are met while ensuring client satisfaction.
•Working on financial analysis and annual budgeting.
•Meet with clients to build a stronger relationship and work towards renewal of contracts in coordination with the Business Development Department
•Ensure on full coordination between OPS and all the company’s departments including the purchasing, financial, IT, Quality, Health and Safety, Contract Administration (subcontractors’ agreements), and Human Resources.
