Shop Manager

He / she is also responsible for the inventory , maintenance and external appearance of his / her shop.
Bachelor’s Degree
3 years of experience in a managerial role; Previous experience in the industry/retail is a major plus

Senior Manager FP&A - Fixed

Role purpose:

Be the integral part of FP&A team - working on delivery of Fixed project and supporting CBU business partner. 
The scope of the role includes working with the Fixed project team and providing support on all the financial aspects of the project including business case, helping with reviewing the readiness of organisation wide systems, policies and processes required to ensure timely and accurate recording of fixed revenues and costs and setting up of robust financial operations processes. 
This role will also support Finance business partner for CBU covering prepaid, post-paid and consumer fixed business and work closely with the planning team for weekly forecast, month end performance review, planning cycles ie., 2+10FC, 5+7F, 9+15F and long range plans.


Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
• Supporting with the delivery of fixed project milestones within the prescribed project timelines
• Ensuring readiness of systems and processes required to ensure timely & accurate recording of fixed revenues and costs.
• Work closely with the CBU team in building the financial plan for all forecast cycles including 2+10FC, 5+7FC, 9+15FC and Long range plan. 
• Work in collaboration with the commercial team in building business cases that provide value to the customer, whilst protecting Margins. 
• Work closely with Finance operations team to ensure accuracy and completeness of all items of Revenue, direct costs and Opex.

Key performance indicators:
• Timely and accurate completion and submission of fixed project deliverables
• Timely and accurate completion and submission of budgets and forecasts
• Ensuring PIR of 10% of all the pricing & other business cases
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis in teleco
• Sound project management skills
• Self-starter and highly motivated individual. 
• Ability to build and drive financial model independently. 
• Strong analytical and influencing skills

Must have technical / professional qualifications: 

Qualified Chartered Accountant and/or MBA in Finance from a reputed Business school

Head of Investor Relations - Vodafone Qatar (Arabic Speaker)

ROLE PURPOSE:
- Assisting with the execution of Investor Relations strategy, supporting the CFO and CEO
- Providing advice and guidance on Vodafone’s operational and financial performance to key shareholders
- Acting as senior interface between external stakeholders and Vodafone

Assist with execution of IR strategy:
- To be an interface between Vodafone and the investor/analyst community
- To be the primary contact for analysts
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders to ensure seamless communication of Vodafone’s operating and financial 
performance including interaction with Execs and direct reports

Analyse key information flows:
- Work closely with members of Finance team to understand business performance and financial and operating metrics/results with the goal of communicating results to the external third parties as required.
- Analyse and interpret key industry trends
- Track competitor performance including official quarterly benchmark review and share price analysis, providing high level feedback to senior management 

Analysts and Key Investors:
- Build and develop strong relationships with analysts and key investors
- Respond promptly to queries and requests for information; bringing any issues to the attention of the CFO or CEO.
- Review all research notes from analysts regarding Vodafone to ensure accuracy of data and work with analysts to make necessary changes when required
- Provide input into analysts’ projections

Preparation for external events:
- Preparation of material for compliance with Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA) and Qatar Exchange (QE) rules and regulations including:
- Ensuring correct format of quarterly statutory accounts presented on time to QFMA and QE in English and Arabic
- Organising publication of relevant financial information and commentary for publication in both Arabic and English newspapers
- Preparation of quarterly presentation of results for website publication

Support preparation and execution of key investor and analyst activities:
- Develop and contribute to key messages for external audiences
- Prepare and discuss Q&A with CFO and CEO
- Assist in drafting scripts/slides for Board packs/external presentations
- Liaise directly internally at all levels to ensure understanding of Vodafone’s objectives and business performance
- Full ownership of the AGM / EGM end to end process

Participate in key IR activities:
- Participate in Vodafone roadshows and other IR events supporting CFO and CEO
- supporting CFO and CEO as required on IR roadshows 
- participate as required in shareholder meetings
- communicate results to key stakeholder audiences around major announcements

Sharia Compliance:
- Lead quarterly Sharia audit, present findings in Arabic, and manage relationship with Sharia Advisor
- Champion Sharia Compliance principles and promote awareness within organization through various activities and channels
- Leverage Sharia Compliance standing with external stakeholders

Develop key competencies:
- Develop key competencies for execution of role, including specialist knowledge of local investment market, Vodafone activities, strategies and strategic goals including sales, customer care, marketing, technology and finance

Project management:
- Ability to take responsibility for specific projects managing internal and external parties. Examples would be:
- Take the lead in preparing for communication to the market regarding a significant change in accounting policy and its impact on key metrics for investors
- Take the lead in preparing for a country investor day and act as key liaison internally for the event
- Take responsibility for preparing and maintaining Q&A for results
- Finance degree ACA or CFA
- Arabic speaking
- Broad financial experience and knowledge, good attention to detail
- Knowledge and detailed understanding of financial valuation and modelling 
- Ability to influence and manage senior relationships
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Detailed knowledge of global capital markets
- Detailed knowledge of key Investor Relations issues and investor behaviours
- Experience in Sharia principles and compliance
- Possesses relevant technical and accounting knowledge to analyse, interpret and communicate operating and financial performance data
