Summary/Purpose
To support and drive sales in the Indoor vertical segments by converting customer requirements into technical solutions.
Essential Responsibilities
• Visit customer sites to design and create solutions for the product application and translate it to product requirements working with Designers, Technology and Product Management team.
• Work with the final customer /partners to translate needs into technical solutions that fully meet the needs of the customer. Carry out site visits for installation audit to propose applications as suitable to customer requirements.
• Identify and present product solutions/samples needed and support pre-installation at the Customer site/concept centres including articulating what is required to fulfill the specification.
• Provide support on site through partners, for smooth installation and commissioning of solution.
• Follow-up on large projects providing the necessary support to project managers and commercial teams, including co-ordination with external partners where necessary.
• Provide overviews of products already installed at the customer and offer new solutions.
• Apply value selling principles and provides cost payback analysis to customer and commercial teams based on application analysis recommendations.
• Work closely with Product Management team to provide product technical and documentation support, including training as needed.
• Work with Technology and support Sales team to get all documents (datasheets) before handover. Check lighting design with Customer/Contractor before handovers.
• Segment target area select the right audit form to be used, create audit summary.
• Generates required technical documentation, calculations to estimate energy consumption/efficiency based on usage data and help build ROI cost models for LED fixtures.
• Understand vertical trends and apply to particular space including lighting/application. Translate trends to solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Product Design
• Experience in providing specialist technical support in lighting systems, fittings and fixtures
• Experience in technical and control systems application experience
• Lighting fixtures technical knowledge
• LED knowledge
• Understands building management systems, controls and systems, and integration of light sources with the fabric of the building or space
• Design skills using Dialux, Relux, 2D or 3D CAD software
• Experience and knowledge of the regional technical standards and building regulations
• Hands on experience in auditing installations
• Ability to drive engagement across cross-functional teams
• Ability to perform in a team environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively interface with all levels of internal and external customers
• Independently able to drive assigned responsibilities
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Fluent in English
• >80% of time will be spent on visiting customer site
