A leading international EPC
contractor is currently recruiting for a Senior HVAC Engineer for a new project
in Kuwait. The project is an LNG Import project but this position will be part
of the building department, working on the plant building section of works. The
client is looking for an experienced Senior HVAC Engineer who has worked in the
Middle East region before within the Oil & Gas industry for EPC
contractors.
Duties:
- To manage the construction of HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing and other Mechanical Parts (ex. overhead crane) of Building
- To manage the Bidding / Commercial & Technical bidding evaluation / Contract Documents for selection of the Subcontractor
- To prepare claims for the Client & the Subcontractor
- To manage the Design and Shop Drawings
- To manage the Planning (Material Submission / Delivery) for Construction
- To establish the definition and work scope of items in schedule of rates which is established in accordance with Standard Estimating Guide
- To attend international and Client meetings if required
- To maintain records in project and communicate status of the tasks responsible
- To cope with Quantity Verification issues, prepare strategy and criteria for measurement of construction quantities.
- To cope with claim issues, prepare strategy and criteria for calculation of cost claim amount
- To advise and report on contract interpretation, payments, changes in scope of works, variations, final accounts
- To advise on contract law and dispute resolution
- To monitor & report construction costs statues during construction period through to project completion
- To prepare contract Change Request and maintain status report
- To prepare conditions of subcontracts and letter for bidding guidelines
- To prepare commercial queries and evaluation of subcontractors documents
- To check legitimacy of subcontractors claim and reply
- To monitor the progress, QAQC, HSE at Field Works
- To manage the field engineers to meet the requirements and progress
- Any other works to cope with the Client & the Subcontractor

Graduate - Bachelor Degree in
Mechanical Engineering
-Excellent English Communication skills
-Minimum of 15 years experience

QA QC Engineer

Our client is a leading
international main contractor who are currently delivering a large Sulphur
handling plant project in Kuwait. The project has a value of 500m USD and is an
expansion to an existing refinery and will last for approximatley 2 years.
- QA/QC Engineer shall be
graduate in Mechanical/Metallurgy/Production Engineer with a minimum 8 years of
experience in similar field
- And shall have sufficient exposure in welding, coating & NDE activities. QA/QC Engineer shall report to the QA/QC manager.
- Min. 8 years of relevant experiences in QAQC
- Min. 3 years of experiences as a QC Engineer
- Holding NACE Level 1 (painting) certificate preferred
- Experiences in Major EPC contractors
- KNPC project experience preferred
