Document Controller - Arabic Reading, Writing and Speaking

We are now seeking an exceptional Document Controller to join our award winning team based within our Abu Dhabi Site Office. 
This critical role will be responsible for various functions related to document control, document archiving, document imaging and maintenance of document register for Construction Projects 



Paramount to success within this varied role will include ;
• Coordinate all activities related to the Document Control procedure, including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence.

• Input document data into the standard registers ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date.

• Generate the various document control reports as required.

• Typing of site documents, in both English and Arabic and follow up of all the site needs

• Makes sure that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are given to the appropriate staff, subcontractors and suppliers as applicable

• Maintain updated records of all approved documents and drawings and their distribution clearly

• Maintain the documents and drawings in the Document Control office under safe custody without any damage or deterioration with easy traceability.

• Maintain the files and control logs as required by the project.
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 6 years career experience with a Diploma or Bachelors degree.
Bilingual communication skills in both English and Arabic, reading, writing and speaking are essential

Planning Engineer

We are now seeking an exceptional Planning Engineer to join our award winning team based within our PMI Division in Abu Dhabi. 
This critical role will be responsible for ensuring project delivery is in line with client requirements through the development of project wide schedules as well as working with and supporting consultants and contractors to develop their contractual schedules. 


Paramount to success within this varied role will include; 
• Work in conjunction with the Planning Manager and project leader in the development of overall project procurement strategy, sequencing, phasing and logistics.
• Demonstrated ability in planning, cost and schedule metrics and tools (work breakdown structure), collecting performance data (installed quantities, expended labour hours, and other progress measurements for direct hire and subcontract labour), tracking data (daily cost compilation and monitoring), analyzing and reporting (earned value, productivity and risk analysis).
• Responsible for development of the project master schedule, update, monitor and review contractor construction schedules, submittals, material delivery, procurement logs and daily follow-up in addition to the necessary productivity measurement studies and associated corrective measures.
• Prepare, implement, analyse and report on KPI's appropriate to the stage of project development.
• Responsible for implementation of 'Work Order' procedures in conjunction with QA/QC staff.
• Identify and track changes, actual and potential, to the project scope, ensuring estimates of cost changes and schedule impact are given visibility with the client and project management.
• Review and approve contractor's work programme(s) submissions.
• Maintain and report on project metrics issued from and through consultants, contractors and document control.
• Assist in the preparation and presentation of the project monthly report.
• Assist in the preparation and maintainence of the project risk plan.
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 10 years' career experience with a Bachelor in Engineering or Architecture, with post graduate qualifications preferred. 
Professional Engineer status or equivalent will be viewed favourably.

Senior Landscape Architect

- Overseeing the design for a variety of project aspects, including urban regeneration schemes, pedestrian schemes, road or retail schemes, and maintaining the character of sites and natural beauty.
- Review and coordinate any necessary revisions to specifications with the designer, general landscape requirements for hard and soft landscaping and their materials in accordance with the owner’s vision and requirements.
- Assessing a site's potential to meet the client's specifications.
- Review environmental impact assessments; seeking and taking into account the views of local residents, potential users, and parties with a vested interest in the project.
- Review detailed plans and working drawings, including applications, construction details, local authority regulations and specifications, appropriate use of hardscape and plant materials for the project using computer-aided design (CAD) packages or similar design software.
- Reviewing the design concepts with the client, dealing with enquiries and negotiating any amendments to the final design.
- Matching the client's wishes with your knowledge of what will work best.
- Liaising with other stakeholders on the project, attending meetings (and managing those related to the Public Realm) with the client, master planner and the contractor.
- Review and give recommendations on Value Engineering.
- Technical review of tender documents and returned tenders, provide input on the selection of a design-build contractor and manage and leading cross-functional teams.
- Monitoring and checking work on-site.
To be successful in this role we envision that you will bring a BSc Landscape Architecture/Master Planning or equivalent) partnered with a minimum 15 years’ industry specific design, construction and management experience on projects of similar size and complexity.

- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, REVIT, and MS Office Suite is required.
- Arabic communication skills will be viewed favourably.

Quantity Surveyor

This critical role will be responsible for representing the firm in its dealings with the contractor on a regular basis, from post contract award throughout the entire course of the construction activities. The successful individual will communicate with the firm’s senior cost controllers and senior quantity surveyors regarding the project’s status and progress as well as managing the projects in accordance with established KEO Project Management Policy and Procedures Manual.
- Implements cost controls and financial control procedures as outlined in the construction contracts.
- Measures and assesses client’s variations to the construction works and contractor’s claims for changes.
- Evaluates contractor’s monthly interim payment applications.
- Identifies areas of concern and assesses their potential impact upon the project budget.
- Measurement of site works from drawings and on site including AutoCad measurement techniques.
- Assists in the review of time extensions, delays and penalties.
- Prepares progress valuations in respect of interim monthly and final payments to contractors.
- Assesses, measures, advises on and recommends the cost impact of design changes.
- Prepares Change/Variation Orders and reports upon cost impacts of such orders on the construction budget.
- Assists in the reviews, assessments and reports upon contractor’s claims
- Prepares project cost and cash flow reports.
- Participates in cost and contractual review meetings.
- Ability to implement commercial/contractual matters within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to analyze project variations and changes, prepare project reports, analyze information for adjustments to project budget as necessary to assure a successful project for the Client and the firm.
- Ability to measure works on site and from drawings including competence with electronic measurement systems.
- Ability to analyze and interpret contract conditions.
- Ability to understand, identify and assess project risks.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written communication.
To be successful in this role we envision that you will bring a minimum of 10 years post-graduate experience of quantity surveying, preferably in the Gulf Region across buiding and infrastructure projects.

Partnered with a Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, preferred candidates will also be working towards MRICS.
