The Role
We are
looking for a Civil Site Supervisor (Rail/Metro) to work for a main contractor
on the Doha Metro in Qatar
Job Role
Civil Site Supervisor (Rail/Metro)
Working for the Construction department from the Logistic Yard and Access Points/Sites
Responsible to manage site activities
Assisting and reporting to Site Engineer
Responsible to provide safe working condition for his team
Following up all site establishment and maintenance work
Will manage team which includes carpenter, steel fixer, mason, electrician, plumber and labour
Will manage all civil and site establishment activities like setup site facilities, fence, hoarding and site preparation works
Will follow up maintenance works at sites
Will monitor subcontractor teams which are working for site establishment works
Will store and distribute construction materials and equipments between different sites

Requirements

At least 10 years site civil works experience
Must have Metro/Rail experience
Organization skills
Experience about formwork, re-bar fixing, concreating, logistic, sites, maintenance and other major civil works
Experience in Gulf Countries (Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia)
Having Driver License
Work experience with contractor companies
Civil Site Supervisor/Foreman

Can review documents from subcontractor and do necessary coordination with subcontractors for submission
Can use MS Office Programs, AutoCAD, Adobe and other office programs
Can draft letters and respond comments by official channel.
