PSR are urgently seeking a Senior Urban Designer for an International Architectural, Landscaping and Urban Design consultant who are based in Abu Dhabi. The Senior Urban Designer would be working on regional urban design and master plan projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an industry leading business. RESPONSIBILITIES: The Senior Urban Designer will be expected to have significant knowledge across various project types and integrate quickly into a well-established team. This individual will be expected to work closely with the Director of Urban and Landscape Design for project design and execution. * Excellent knowledge of the local GCC market and regulations. * Coordinating with other consultants and disciplines * A successful track record of working within a client facing role * Large scale master plan design and developments
Requirements

Operations Manager/Director - Building

Our client is a leading international construction company that is currently looking to recruit a first class operations manager to assist with the delivery of multiple projects across Qatar. Typically this could be between 5-15 projects ranging in value from QAR 500,000 through to QAR 10 million. Sectors they operate in include: - Education - Healthcare - Commercial - Retail/Malls You will lead a team of between 3-6 Project Managers and provide both operational and commercial support. Excellent technical capabilities and also experience in working on projects both pre and post contract.
Salary: QAR 60,000 to 80,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be degree qualified, preferably MCIOB and have extensive experience in Building (NOT infrastructure projects). They will be of western origin and previous experience of working in the GCC ESSENTIAL. There is a real opportunity to progress into a board level position and therefore candidates must have the aspirations to progress. Given the opportunity to progress, this role will be suited to a younger, dynamic professional, client would prefer to recruit somebody between 40-50 years old (MAX).

The client is an exceptionally well regarded international design consultant who have offices across the Middle East. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an industry leading business on a project expected to be handed over in 2020. RESPONSIBILITIES: The Contracts Manager will be expected to have significant knowledge across various project types and integrate quickly into a well-established team. Rock solid understanding of contractual documentation and close-out procedures is required. * To ensure a communication schedule is agreed with all parties * To oversee the preparation of cost reports * To manage others and participate in the commercial administration and management of contracts including cost reporting, preparation and negotiation of claims * To oversee and participate in close out of contracts and deals with claims to satisfactory conclusions * Problem solving and dispute resolution with contractors
