Are you a qualified and experienced Vocational Lecturer? Are you looking for a new and exciting opportunity on a one year fixed term contract in Qatar?

The college programmes are 1-2 years, delivered at Levels 3-5 on the UK's qualifications framework for vocational programmes.

The Roles:

Lecturers and Assessors will provide high quality teaching and access to learning, teaching a range of courses to students within the College. It is expected that the post-holders will contribute to course design, development and review of the Events Management programme, sharing best practice and ideas for improvement where these are identified.

Teamwork is critical to success. Upon joining the team a local induction will take place, built around understanding the business, your role and the new environment you will be working and living in, whilst providing the opportunity to make some friends across the teaching team.
* A Bachelor's degree
* A minimum of three years' industry work experience in an area relevant to your subject teaching
* A minimum of three years teaching / training experience at UK Diploma level (HNC and HND)

Preferred requirements include:
* Any relevant teaching qualifications.
* Native English speaker. Where you are not a native English speaker, you must have an IELTS score of 7.5 and be able to demonstrate this at interview, with recent certification.
* Arabic speaker.

Foundation Manager

Job Description:

The foundation manager reports to the College Dean and assists in the performance of various leadership responsibilities, which are attendant to the successful implementation of the foundation program.

Essential Job Functions
* Leading and managing all faculty involved in the delivery of the foundation program and the implementation of its curriculum
* Supervision and coordination of all academic activities related to the foundation program relevant to the English Language, Math and Information Technology core subject areas
* Reviewing and evaluating courses of study with the Corporate Foundation Manager, curriculum specialists and relevant stakeholders to develop, improve and implement current and new courses of study
* Evaluating the teaching-learning process through following up on the results of the formative assessments in place
* Evaluating faculty performance through class observation and overall performance appraisal
* Monitoring students' progress through assessment and tutorial activities
* Monitoring students' attendance with a view to boost their retention rates through collaboration with the student affairs department
* Keeping current with and disseminating all policies and procedures relevant to the foundation program
* Bachelor's degree in any Education or Applied linguistics related specializations
* Minimum of 2 years management level experience in a similar role or 5 years classroom teaching experience in a similar environment

Preferred Qualifications
* Master's Degree in a related field

* In depth knowledge of EFL/ESL pedagogy and assessment
* Sound educational philosophy and instructional competence
